    Its a celery, I pass.

The high end celerys arnt bad but unfortunately not this one

      • A celery by any other name is still a celery…

        • Celeron 847 is like… 5yrs old.

How can they sell a celetron notebook for $1200?

  • It's Celeron ok? :D

  • My asus f202e that I bought 3 years ago has a celeron 847 and it's truly horrible, but I only spent less than $300. How can this thing be $516 in 2016?

  • +1

if it was a current gen cpu then maybe it'd be $1200 but this is such old tech and they're quoting the price as if it was newly launched.

    • still nowhere close, the saving grace here is the FHD touch and SSD, abit like pairing it with z8300/z373x

  • Like that it had Full HD screen resolution compared to some competitors…good if only for general purposes. Wonder how much is space is left after the bloatware.
Final price is only because of further 20% off at ebay, otherwise would be $645. It's suffers from the middle of the market spec where it should either have had a cheaper price…or better specs for what it is.

  • I can't believe there are still stocks. This deal is not good at all. I got this for $669 1 year ago. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/186146

  • I know this may be hard but if you can get your hands on this machine to check it out first, it'd be a good start.

Try typing on it. The travel is very shallow. You may not be bothered by this, but I was.

Also check out the screen's ability to tilt. Or lack thereof. This was the other reason why I didn't jump on this machine.

    Hope this helps.
