Hi guys. For your chance to WIN $250 from CASHREWARDS, simply correctly predict the final score in tonight’s State of Origin game. There is only one $250 prize, so use your footy knowledge to comment with your score in the format below. Please add nothing else to the comment.
example: NSW 14 QLD 10 or QLD 21 NSW 12
The first chronologically correct entry will have $250 deposited into their Cashrewards account on Thursday 23 June 2016. If there are no correct entries, the competition will be run again for the final State of Origin match on 13 July 2016. Entries close (last comments accepted) at 7:59pm AEST tonight (22/6/16). Entry is restricted to 1 per OzBargain account. Please note that the moderators will close comments from 8pm to 9pm to prevent entries being changed. You will be able to make further game-related comments from 9pm but you will be unable to change your entry. Good luck!
Terms & Conditions
- This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
- The promoter is Cashrewards ABN 72 150 888 136.
- Employees of the promoter (Cashrewards) are ineligible to enter the competition, as are their immediate families.
- Only one entry is permitted per OzBargain account. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries. Where a person makes more than one comment, only the first comment is the valid entry. All other comments are ineligible for entry.
- Entries/comments containing anything other than a final score in the format listed above will be considered ineligible for entry.
- The winner of the competition must be a member of Cashrewards at the time of entering/commenting.
- The winning entry will be judged by Cashrewards, and no debate will be entered into. The winner will be chosen at the Cashrewards head office and the decision is final. No further correspondence will be entered into.
- The promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the competition as necessary due to circumstances outside its control.
- The prize is $250. The prize is non-transferable and will be credited into the winner's Cashrewards account on Thursday 23 June 2016.
- Promotion commences at the time of this post and ends at 7:59pm on the 22 June 2016. Any comments made after this time will not be valid entries. The winner will be contacted by TA by PM through OzBargain on Thursday 23 June 2016.
- If Cashrewards is unable to contact the winner within 2 days of the conclusion of the competition and has made every effort to contact them with the information provided by the entrant, then Cashrewards may award the prize to another valid entrant.
- If there is no competition winner (defined by picking the EXACT final score and as deemed correct by Cashrewards) the competition will be re-run for State of Origin Game 3. There will be a new competition posted, and all comments on this post will not be included.
- By entering the competition, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.

Hi guys and thanks to all for participating. Unfortunately there was no winner but Spackbace came within 8 minutes of claiming the prize only to be outdone by a late Qld try. Closest to the final score was nateflight - well done!
Also a massive thank you to Spackbace for adding the table to the comp which made it so much easier to follow.

Great idea! Just thinking of how best to run it though. Entry has to predict winner & seat margin? Open to any suggestions whatsoever for any game of skill, as we're keen to run heaps of comps. Anyone feel free to comment :)
I didn't think of that part. Maybe have people say which major party will win (Liberal or Labor) and put the winners usernames into random.org/lists to determine the winner?
