  • Why only 69 or more?

Thanks for posting. I love these bags. Can't wait to see what's in them.

The Priceline catalogues are usually posted on the Salefinder website before they're posted on the Priceline website. They usually go live on www.salefinder.com.au at around 2.00am Thursday morning. Looks like I'll be staying up late tonight!

    • Hmmm I believe priceline always have their catalog updates 00:00 am?
      Edit:
The catalog is live now, but the site hasnt reflect the catalogue

I got the catalogue today. Sorry for the poor quality photos, but it might give an idea of items in the bag/brands you can buy to make up the $69.

  • The bag and info should go live here later. And thanks I was waiting for this! I've noticed they tend to do a good pink dot sale right before one of these.

  • Yes they have updated it online now and this is what it says…
Spend $69 Or More Instore Or Online In One Transaction On Skincare, Suncare Or Tanning From The Participating Brands To Receive This Free Skincare Gift Bag Valued At Over $340 (While Stocks Last).
However even i am unable to view the catalogue, it shows the offer when I go to the skincare section, hopefully it should be up by morning

  • These are the participating brands: Alpha Keri, Antipodes, Biore, Bondi Sands, Burt's Bees, Cetaphil, Dr. LeWinn's, Essano, Garnier, Goodness, Klara, L'Oréal Paris, La Roche-Posay, Manuka Doctors, ModelCo, Montagne Jeunesse, Natural Instinct, Neutrogena, Nip & Fab, Nivea, Olay, Sukin, Swisspers, Thursday Plantation.

  • I usually only shop at Priceline when they have the 40% off sales; is this a worthy deal to shop in order to get the goodie bag? i.e. Is getting this goodie bag as good as buying the equivalent beauty products when they are 40% off? Any recommendations on what to buy to make up the $69 spend?

The brands involved in the goody bag are 20% off, so that should lessen the pain! I like Sukin and Neutrogena, but have to admit I haven't tried all of the brands. Here's a link to the catalogue https://www.priceline.com.au/e-catalogue?xid=eml-ecat-intro-…

        And some are 30% off!

        • Thank you! I didn't know they would do 20-30% off sales during the gift bag period as well. I bought a Dr Luwinn's Day/Night cream ($55.99 with 20% off), an Olay face wash (around $10) and a small face mask pack ($3) to make up the $69 spend. It's my first gift bag and it's amazing! Lot's of full sized products. I'm going to have to start collecting them in the future too :)

          @karen_lee89:
In case you need to know, Priceline does 3 goody bags a year I think: a skincare one, a haircare one and a cosmetics one.

There are usually over a dozen brands participating in the goody bag promotions and they are usually discounted as well. So it's not hard to find something you already like or something you'd like to try.

For the last haircare one, I stocked up on shampoo and conditioner, as my usual brand and quite a few other brands were all 50% off.

        • @JoFord63: Thanks, I really had no idea about the sales during the goody bag period. Can't believe I've avoided and missed out all this time. Wish I knew earlier!

        • @JoFord63: JoFord63, you seem to have tried a great many products…..can you recommend a hand cream for very dry paws? Thanx

        • @JoFord63:

Last year priceline had 4 gift bags.

Skincare bags were given twice in june and november

If you are a skincare junkie and would love to try new stuff, this is perfect. Otherwise dont, it will end up as a waste.

      My recommendation is antipodes range

  • Hmm looks like a lot of sample/trial sized stuff. I'm guessing the bag probably has a RRP of $200…

The bag contains 20 full-sized products - well a few are the smallest size in the range e.g. 125ml instead of 250ml, but not sample size/travel size.

Past bags have included 3 or 4 cards for products that you have to go back instore to redeem, and I've usually missed out on getting those products because the stores don't actually stock up extra for the promotion.

This bag doesn't contain any of those redeemable cards.

Yes, you can frequently get the promoted products on sale, and yes, the bag may be of lesser value to you personally, but I am happy to be able to get discounted products, free products, cashback and priceline points all for the one transaction.

        1. Dr. Lewinn's Eternal Youth Day & Night Cream (15g trial size)
        2. ModelCo 3 step sachet which includes sample size Daily foaming cleanser, sample size Boosting Ampule Serum and 1 Instant Hydro-Glow Miracle Mask - all in one sachet
        3. Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing Pads (5 pads sample)
        4. Manuka Doctor Purified Bee Venom & Manuka Honey skincare sample
        5. Monatgne Jeunesse Passion Peel Off (trial size sachet)
        6. Antipodes Hosanna H2O intensive Skin-plumping serum (10ml)
        7. Egyptian Magic All purpose skin cream sachet (3ml)

All these look like sample/travel sizes to me. Unless the OP is lying or got ripped off? :o

        • Nope, you're right. I looked harder at the list after I replied to your comment. But no. 4 is a set of 3 good-sized samples (and I've sold ones received previously for a good price on eBay), and no. 6 is the size I usually see so I thought it was full size.

You and I seem to never seem eye to eye, but let's call it roughly a draw. 20 full-sized products (like I said), 5 samples (like you said) and 2 products that I consider full-size but you consider samples.

P.S. Please don't consider this an argument. I'm just trying to participate and provide hopefully useful info. Unless you are trolling me LOL?

        • @JoFord63:

Lol okay. I'm not arguing. I'm also trying to participate and provide hopefully useful info. At least now you know that most of the good stuff is only sample size, so you won't get the disappointing surprise when you get the bag. (I know I would be, everything looks full sized in the photo)

I thought you were trolling me when you said they were all full sizes! Well, either you, the OP or priceline.

        • @Ughhh:
Oh, we are on the same page! Thanks for your reply. The good thing about OzBargain is that people give their honest opinions. (And the bad thing about OzBargain is that people give their honest opinions … well … "honestly".)

The detailed list provided by the OP was really really useful (but I had already obtained my bag and formed my opinion that it was a good one, so I guess that coloured my comments).

          Cheers.

        • @JoFord63:

No 6 normal size is 30ml.

          10ml is the sample size.

          Still worth $15

  • cant believe it's sold out already, both online and in my local store!

  • Rang around to many stores in Vic, well, 7 stores near me, and seems to be all sold out. They told me to get in on day 1 next time. Sigh.
