$1285 from Sydney to Amsterdam with cash back. Not a bad price.

Great prices bit first leg on Garuda is a deal-breaker.

    • ?

    • Try other dates - I saw SYD-AMS 4-24/10 and Garuda was only an option (more expensive by a couple of hundred dollars) on one of the legs.

      More like deal-maker
They're one of only eight 5 star airlines

    • Garuda isn't the same airline anymore, but hey, go with your gut on air travel!

    • Garuda doesn't even fly to all the Australian cities. From Brisbane the first leg is on Cathay to HKG or Virgin to DPS, or even Etihad to AUH.

As a Dutchman, I'd say that the KLM-operated legs are the deal breaker here… Old planes, poor seat config and poor customer service. The only plus with KLM is that they've got a decent website.

anyone know a simple way of adding/finding stopovers on a particular flight?

    • Multi-city - you don't even need to have the same departure place for the second (return) leg.

    • Depends on when you are planning to go - we need to visit family in the UK for Christmas - these flights actually cover our planned timing ( there is a blackout period but relative short for xmas/new year period).

  • If your from MEL or PER this is a better deal on EY
