  • Seems reasonable. I'm on my 3rd kettle in 3 years:

    • The Russell Hobbs Silhouette I bought looks great in their photoshopped images, but cheap in reality. Returned within two-year warranty period as the lid would jam, and eventually a piece of plastic broke as a result.
    • Breville Crystal Clear: beautiful solid kettle. Very nicely made. If only the lid would open… starts jamming within weeks, have to pry open when hot. Known issue - avoid. Returned within warranty.
    • Now on an expensive Kenwood Persona with variable temperature. Looks good, but inside plastic. Lid started jamming within a month. Hard to pry open when it does.

I'd be willing to give these guys a try at that price, because from my experience the branded kettles are no guarantee for quality. I do not dare to show my face in Myer to return the 3rd kettle.

I just bought from the ebay place (Comment below)
cause our expensive Breville temperature controlled
one has all the buttons gone dodgy.
Seems money don't buy a good kettle.

      Simplicity wins I think.

Yeah… was tempted to buy a cuisineart, but the ink rubs off the buttons in no-time. Honestly, can nobody design a proper kettle?

Looks about the same and cheaper…

  • I clicked the link on my phone, but don't see the promised option of a temperature control kettle.

  • -1

    There's no temperature control!

    • +1

It's an option on this mode
      Please revoke your neg.
