  • Wow, expensive.

Wouldn't say expensive, especially being in Subiaco. But does seem like it's a regular cheap Tuesday deal rather than a bargain.

Also they were booked out the last two weeks, and not a fan of the buying "tickets" for it and cancellation policy. Guess that's the cost of advertising on facebook.

        Nah, it's expensive :p

It's not buying tickets. It's just calling in and making a reservation. Just so that everyone who calls gets seats. First in best dressed.
There is cancellation policy if you book a table of 6+ and then don't show up which I think Is fair because the restaurant is turning away other clients for you.

          If it's 6+ then that's fair :)

It's only expensive if you believe that Dominos make good pizza.

Ah right, whatever you reckon mate.

        • -1

          Booooooo!

      • Not really, around $23 will easily get you a pizza from Crust, and I don't know about you but I can't have a whole one of those in 1 sitting. 4 people around the table = 4x large pizzas @ Crust = a hellova lot of food!

If it included the pasta, or more, then maybe, but doesn't seem worth it, especially only for a Tuesday night

dominos do make good enough pizza. but of course Perth people have been brainwashed into paying stupid prices for average food for decades and so will look down on falsely-perceived "inferior" chain stores. pizza isn't exactly gourmet food no matter how many prawns you chuck on it lol

but $23 for all you can eat is potentially good value if the venue is decent

OzBargainer's like all you can eat because we get our money's worth

Just did some research on this, found some horrid reviews on their official Facebook page. Not an isolated incident either, I'd avoid it like the plague.

OP, why is it expired? You booked out now?

No deal, this has been your regular Tuesday deal for about 12 months now, even if your management has changed. It's been on your website and facebook page for that long, so don't try and say otherwise.

I tried it late last year, AYCE is done in the same way Brazilian BBQ (e.g Lapa, which is right next door) places do it where they walk around with plates of pizza, pasta, meats, etc. It wasn't bad, but it's not very effective when the place isn't busy as they keep the variety narrow and they don't cook all that much (it also goes cold too). However, I can imagine if its really busy that it's probably just as ineffective as well unless they have a lot of staff walking around to ensure consistent replenishment. Quality of food was fine and the group of us that went out were satisfied. Very, very pushy for drink purchases however.
