  • Great deal.

    Thanks

  • The Etihad offer end tomorrow FYI

  • Not sure about the other areas, but from Perth to UK/Ireland, the prices look pretty standard for off-peak dates?

    • Yeah I think the European low $1200 fares are better value than the UK/Ireland fares mid $1300 UK/Ireland fares, however keep in mind that Qatar are a 5 star airline so it depends what you are looking for / comparing it to.

  • I like the way they say—-Escape winter with our Europe Sale,
We'll be well into spring on those dates.

  • Great deal! Does anyone know why all the offers seem to finish at the end of March? I need to travel April-may and I'm trying to hold out

    • +1

Last week in March - 1St week in May is Shoulder season.
The rest of May is low season and June - Aug. is Summer (High Season)

  • Which airline is better: Qatar or Etihad??

    • I guess it relies on personal preference and prices, time etc but Qatar are better regarded than Etihad.

Top 10 Airlines 2015. Qatar Airways is named the World’s Best Airline in 2015 by customers in the largest international passenger satisfaction survey. Etihad was #6. I don't think you'd go wrong with either though.

      • On the maintenance and safety side I'd be going with Etihad who has a clean record.

Qatar's had a few serious stuff ups recently.
777 Miami Incident, rotated off the runway and continued to Doha.
A350 takeoff on the wrong runway at JFK.

Etihad is probably the most overrated airline in the world, can't imagine Qatar being worse.

  • +1

A friend bought tickets at this price recently and they were going to depart this last Tuesday from Adelaide and the flight was overbooked by 150 people apparently.

    • What sort of compensation were they offered? When this happened to me on Emirates I was offered the next flight 8 hours later + hotel stay at the airport plus a voucher for a free flight to be used within 12 months.

  • I wish I could go :(

But I'm not taking a flight to Europe with a 2 yr old.

  • Europe Sale - Now extended until 11th July 2016.
