    Contrast that with:

    Pa Kent: "Don't save me going into that twister son, it'll give away your secret identity".
    Clark: scratches self while father dies
    Trucker: I don't like you.
    Clark: silently sticks semi-trailer in tree then steals some poor person's clothes (yeah that won't risk your secret identity) / snaps the bad guy's neck / then won't kill Batman

    But it's okay in the end because mummy's name is Martha.
