I got this tv not sure if it uses hdmi 2.0 no one will tell me =/

  I kind of assumed HDMI 2.0 was necessary for HDR, but I'm not really too clued in on how that works.

    its false. they have 3 hdmi not 2 dont think this is the right model.

These are edge lit dimming ( or what ever the correct term is). The SUHD models a proper back dimming if that's important to you.
I saw them at JB last week.
