      • Excellent. Thanks Monty.

      • Thanks! Guessing it'll be either of these (only two options?)?

        16,000 mAh
        20,000 mAh

        • +2

I wish I had bought the Xiaomi 20,000 rather than the Romoss 20,000.

The Xiaomi claims it can be fully charged in as little as 7 hours.

The Romoss takes 22 hours 😰

@monty.melb: I got a prompt reply that said since it was flat rate, there was no tracking, so I should sit back for 10-15 days.

  • Well, last time i bought one from Tmart they said they couldn't deliver it because of the legislation in regards to the batteries.
I had to cancel my order and got my money back.

Title somewhat misleading, as is doesn't contain Qualcomm Quick Charge components… I might be wrong though.

    • I agree I would not call it quick charge. As the quick charge one is more premium and pricer: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Newest-Xiaomi-Power-Bank-1000…

      • +1

i dont have usb-c device should i still go with pro version?

    • +2

Nope, you're right. No QC here :(.

    • +7

There should be a permanent rule on OzBargain that if it doesn't have Qualcomm Quick Charge, 'Quick Charge' or 'Quick Charging' should not be in the title. Very misleading.

      • -1

I understand your point, but it says "quick charging 2.1A" which i think has been considered quick/justified for a decade.

Quick charging means many things, these days. I don't see how qualcomm quick charge makes everything else now invalid.

  • Should get quick charge 2.0?

  • Wow, dedicated OzBargain Service Hotline?, count me in!

Time for some piston 3 please or some iem/headphone deal~

Anyone know any good micro usb chargers? I been using genuine belkin and numerous chargers from eBay but they all seem to stop charging at a certain angle. Is there any that has lasted longer then 6 months??

    • +1

The Blitzwolf cables are very good from what I've heard

  • How long does shipping typically take?

    • Took me about 3.5 weeks to get my powerbank from the last deal. Seems like it's more a fault of customs than everbuying - it got held up for longer in customs than it took for them to ship it to our shores.

      • +1

War on Drugs and War on Terrists helping you out yet again.

  • No quick charge:(

  • shipping time???

    • It's coming from china so 1 month plus/minus 1 week.

  • Would've liked to buy 2 or 3 units if they were at the same price but unfortunately the code and points are fixed amounts.

Edit: all done, it cost $16.14 through paypal with all discounts.

  • How do you use the 100 points?

    • Normal checkout.

  • Thanks MM.

  • Thanks OP, just ordered one thru my PC. $11.69

  • Hi Monty,

    Is this product genuine?

    http://m.everbuying.net/product793025.html

The reason I ask this is that some Xiaomi products are listed "genuine" and others "original".

    regards

    • Hello Surm,

All of our xiaomi products are genuine. You can check the QR code on the package. Pls rest assured.

      Becky

How does the QR code validate it?

I have opened up a new account, but when I go ahead to make a purchase via Paypal, it is not using my EB credits and I don't find any way of using EB credits + Paypal in payment options. Can you help?

    • The EB credits come through on the final payment page only.

  • I am really unpleased with Everbuying. I ordered 7 powerbanks for my family and me two days ago. Each on different account. Today (July 7th) I saw that the money for it was returned to my PayPal account without ANY reason. I did not receive any email with problem with stock etc. I really DO NOT recommend buying in the shop, because their customer care is one big mistake. They may call it 'Customer Care', but I will rather leave only 'Customer' without 'Care'.

  • Please explain like I'm 5. How different is it between a 10 000 and a 20 000mAh? Is it worth it just for 20 000mAh? I need to get a power bank for my quest to catch em' all. God it drains a lot of battery.

And how low can you go for the 20 000?

    • +3

      How different is it between a 10 000 and a 20 000mAh?

It's like one contains 10,000 Pokemons and one contains 20,000 Pokemons.

Is it worth it just for 20 000mAh?

The 20,000 is twice the weight and twice the size. You need to carry that even if you only need 5,000 mAh.

I'd buy 2 x 10,000 rather than 1 x 20,000… also allows you to use one and charge the other.

In fact, normally I use my 5,000 mAh Xiaomi like this one: as that is small light and thin, so it fits in my pocket.

Try this kind of test (I just make up the numbers for example).

Play GO for 2.5 hours and it flattens your battery from 100% to basically zero.
Phone charger outputs 1.8A, and it takes you 2 hours to recharge from zero to 100%.
      Thus battery takes 1.8A x 1000 x 2hrs = 3600 mAh to charge
And, GO uses 3600 mAh / 2.5 hrs = 1440 mAh to run.
Buy a 5000 mAh battery bank, and that will run GO for 5000 / 1440 = 3.5 hours.
3.5 hours extra from battery bank + 2.5 hours phone = you need a life.

  • thanks. just bought one.

  • i bought a powerbank during the last deal, and it's been sitting at "AUSTRALIA, the transfer of customs— 28-Jun-2016 09:26 AM" on the shipping tracker

Anyone know if this is normal to sit at customs for over 2 weeks??

  • Anyone else had this issue? Haven't received it yet for a 20000 mAH powerbank from one of the previous deals:

      • So you didn't receive it either? I'll try calling Australia Post or customs maybe?

Can the everbuying rep please help out?

        • +2

Please let us know what happens.

        • @kiwipride:

Just received mine - all good!

    • Ordered other stuff from everbuying before and i have had this happen — stuff would take 1-2 weeks to get to sydney (quicker than expected tbh) and hit customs and it just sits there for 1-2 weeks (hasnt been more thank god!). I really dont understand why this delay happens. Don't customs have their own timeframe guidelines for stuff to be cleared etc??.

  • Thanks Monty! Great deal. Just bought one :)

  • Do you know if it can charge a low power device such as Bluetooth earbuds?

I have a Jackery Zen power bank and it shuts off automatically after a few seconds because it cannot "feel" the charging of my Bluetooth earbuds. I tested with two different earbuds; same story. I am wondering if this Xiaomi power bank behaves the same. Does it?

  • Now saying:

"The Promotion code has exceeded the number of times it can be used, please recheck and try again."

So looks to have expired now.

  • Any way it can be reactivated?

  • I wrote an email to them about rejecting my payments via PayPal. I have not received an answer yet. I wrote to [email protected]. It seems that they do not care about customers. They just missed my email. I really need powerbanks but right now the promo code is down.
They said that I can pay using bank transfer or western union, but international transfers are really expensive. PayPal is more convenient
It is annyoing that my payments are rejected by an incompetent person. Here is my email. I hope someone from everbuying will read and answer it.

    'Hey,
I know that you and Gearbest are provided by the same company. I have done a lot of orders on Gearbest untill now and I have never experienced any difficulties with payments using PayPal. I use PayPal everytime I buy something. Bank transfers and western union are too expensive for me, because I have not an USD credit card.
There should not be any problems with paying by PayPal. You refund me my payments everytime I make an order.
If there is any solution, I will be forced to stop buying from your shop and tell everyone negative feedback, because you reject my payments WITHOUT ANY REASON. I am really dissatisfied with it.
I also want to admit that I do not want to buy those powerbanks only for me. They are for me, my family and friends.
I hope that my payments will no longer be rejected by an incompetent person and we will solve the problem as fast as possible.

    Best regards'

So I tried to to check my power banks authenticity using the 20 digit code and it keeps on saying recheck the number or incorrect number. Does it mean it's a fake?? Thanks.

Also I have a previous same model power bank. The difference that I've noticed so far is that the led lights on the everbuying one is yellow compared to the crisp white ones on a known genuine.
