  • It looks way too bulky.

    • Maybe, but great sound and good battery life.

      • +1

Doesn't support either AAC (iOS) nor Apt-X (some Android and macOS) A2DP codecs. This Sony headset is best for Sony device.

  • The Jaybird X2s are much better and way cheaper.

    • Are you speaking from experience? That control module on one side looks mighty uncomfortable. Only SBC A2DP codec is supported, and it isn't in same category as AAC and Apt-X. (The main advantage of using AAC is that audio stored in AAC format doesn't needs transcoding for transmission.)

      • Yes. I tried many wireless earphones including Phillips, Sony (this one and another more 'traditional' designed one), cheap MPOW, QCY ones before settling on the Jaybirds. I wasn't expecting the Jaybirds to be that good because they are marketed as sports earphones which are generally not that good, but it's actually sounds quite nice and the design is great. The Sony was comparable in sound quality but the headband was quite annoying and at was expensive (~$300). Jaybirds were half the price. I have an iPhone and not a Sony phone which supports the Hi-Res audio so I couldn't tell you whether this sounds much better.
