Intended for use while roaming overseas but can be used in Oz as well. I activated mine last week ..Off tomorrow into the wild blue yonder..Thailand actually..$1 per minute to call or receive calls from OZ while there ($0.50 per SMS)..not the cheapest but happy enough with $30 free credit…

I booked 2 airbnbs in Japan and was able to claim $30 SIM cards for each.
Had to book another whilst in Japan but didn't get the option to claim(though I didn't try too hard)
Just booked 2 sims for my two air bnb bookings in Malaysia and Singapore. Pickup instore tomorrow, so will see how I go :)

do u know how many gb of data are on each?
Was told it will be charged @ $1 per 50mb of data. So if i'm correct, that would equate to 1.5gb of data if that was all you were using it for. I'm not after the data, as I will have wifi. I just wanted the call and sms options.

Scratch that last information. Just arrived jn Malaysia and was sent an Optus txt clearly stating it will be charged @.50c per mb of data. I will be having a chat with the Optus staff when I get home about this. Lucky I wasn't relying on their data plan. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
