Do you guys offer sample packs of your beans? Not as in 'free' of course but other roasting places will for example sell a pack of of 4 x 250g freshly roasted beans for around $30-$40.
    Cheers

Would love to try their coffee but when I see blends called "winter" as though it's somehow tailored for cold weather… I don't know what to think of it.

    • Coffee is a fruit, it's been harvest at different times in different regions around the world. It is called winter simply because the coffee greens arrived in Au during this time of the year.

If you are in Brisbane, Spot Specialty Coffee in Taringa, Coffee Anthology in CBD would have coffee from Industry Beans, I'd say it is one of the top coffee roaster in Australia.

    • thats what every roaster says about themselves

      • there is a very good reason why I point you to stores that's serving the coffee.

        • twas a joke mate

i bought like $60 worth from these guys last night

Just taking a jab at the pretentiousness of coffee places these days

I had a coffee made with the Fitzroy Street beans a couple of weeks ago. Very, very good.

  • Katsuya, I agree.

Proud Mary is my number one but Industry is possibly my Melbourne number two. Unfortunately, I am never in the CBD to get to Coffee Anthology to get some Proud Mary beans (Grindhouse at Stones Corner used to). I work at Toowong and didn't know spot uses industry beans. Do you know if they sell filter roasts?

    • Grindhouse is now called Woodman's Axe, now serving Axil's coffee.

Spot doesn't sell any filter coffee, I believe Spot is also showcasing Padre Coffee.

You best bet for Proud Mary in that area would be Josie North in the little alley way of 51 Sherwood Rd, Toowong QLD 4066.
If you are lucky, I believe One Drop in the Valley would still have some Proud Mary this week (not filter :p).

      • Josie North is serving Seven Seeds. At least they were last week. Also, they only do batch brew in terms of filter offering. Have not checked out there retail offering though. I do go to Josie North often in lunch break.

Woodman's aaxe is not the same. The former owners of Grindhouse (the ones after it was offloaded by the Odyssey p and when serving Proud Mary) now work at Black Sheep. They are probably the best Baristas in Brisbane (formerly worked at Sensory Lab and Aunty Pegs) and the only decent syphon I've had in Queensland. Unfortunately they are moving back to Melbourne soon.

    • late reply but i tried the Industry beans this week and were amazing

if proud mary are even better what beans do u reccomend?

      their naming convention is retarded
