  • Most stores like Mwave, Dicksmith and CPL have them for $32, so which ever is closest to pickup is the best option

Looks trendy, but I bet it's mega uncomfortable! Like pushing a pack of PostIt Notes around the desk LOL

I always liked the Arc mouse as a compact device, as it was compact but unfolded into something that an adult could use.

    • Still better than magic mouse.

    • it's too flat for my liking. i used a cheaper, similar mouse (which was a tenth of the price) and got cramps in my hand. i've got small hands so i thought it would be comfy to use :\

  • I'm just astounded that in 2016, every mouse doesn't have back/forward buttons?

I can't imagine having to go up to those stupid arrows EVERY time I wanted to go back/back out of web/folders…

Am I the only one who calls, "deal-breaker" on mice w/o?

    Cheers

PS: not knocking deal, just wondering your thoughts?

Well, in every computer lab away from home that I've been to, (libraries, uni, office, etc.) they've always been using stock mouses - the ones without the side buttons.

When I need to go back, I usually press the backspace key on the keyboard.

    • back/forward buttons are not important to me TBH. I have mouse that as simple as two buttons, or as complicated as razor MMO. None of them shows me the importance of back/forward buttons. Full size keyboards are important to me tho. I use excel and BI heavily.

I've never used Forward and Back on my mouse. I own a keyboard.

I usually open a new tab in a browser for the new webpage I want (to retain/leave open Google's main search I opened)

I do the same, open in new Tab (by holding CTRL and clicking the link, not R-click > Open In New Tab (as that is twice as much work).

So I click, read, (click backspace button).

Ermmmm. If you open a new window from Google link, then clicking Back WILL NOT close it. There is redirect in there which immediately opens the URL again. Using BACK on the mouse doesn't close a new window from a normal link either.

When I finish reading, I click the X on the window's tab.

  • I suppose it's a user thing, but having the button directly on the mouse makes it a whole lot quicker (vs. KB).

I usually open a new tab in a browser for the new webpage I want (to retain/leave open Google's main search I opened), but then I sometimes end up with far too many tabs open! So I click, read, (click backspace button).

    Thanks for the feedback!

    :)
