    I have one of these for 3-4 yrs now and it's still going strong, being one of the coolest thing I have on my desk! Great sound, cool looks. It's a steal at $180. A big PLUS from me!!

    Ive got a a set of Altec Lansing 2100's, they are discontinued now id imagine (had them for about 10 years) but they still hammer away very nicely. Would this set of speakers be a upgrade or downgrade from those? Cause hey honestly they look awesome…

      That's interesting. I was doing A LOT of research last night to see whether COTD price was the best and I'm pretty sure bluepoint was on ebay and selling this speaker set for $239.

          You don't need to do a thing, its automatic. I've added a note to all the orders so far, its the one we sell normally for $9.95, used to sell for $25 I think. MX50 is the model. Just a set of earbuds.

      Satellites are 10W RMS each and the sub is 20W RMS. Z-2300 which is around the same price range are 40W RMS for each satellite and 120W RMS for the sub. That's a pretty huge difference. I guess I'd only buy them for the aesthetic purpose.

        More power does not mean better speakers.

        The Z-2300 and HK Soundsticks II are quite evenly matched in terms of general feedback from users.

    These are awesome speakers, had them about a year now. I demoed almost all of the speakers at a jb-hifi store when I was looking for new computer speakers and just had to buy these, they look cool and the sound great. Bought mine for $250 so this seems like a great price.

      Consult your credit card statement as it was a $20 discount. If you put your order in before the coupon code became available and you emailed QQQ, he might have refunded $20 rather than post out a voucher.
