Just a note that Need for Speed, and Rivals, are both in the EA Access Vault. Can buy a 12-month subscription for $40, play them (and other games) as much as you want over that time

    Just did that yesterday :)

    • Agreed, much better value getting EA Access (which is frequently on sale too) and getting them all that way, as well as a bunch of other awesome games.

    • Does the version in the EA Access Vault include all the DLC? Or is that an additional cost on top still?

      • Still an additional cost for the Deluxe version (from what I saw)

In reality though you don't get much. Sure you get the E46 M3, but the rest is pretty minor

  • As much as i love the convenience of downloaded game as much as i hate downloading them and using alot of my data allowance(Stupid university accommodation 100gb per month!)!

      … 100gb p/mth is hardly being hard done by….

      *mumbles kids of today…

  • Nice!!!!! Should I Deluxe???

Edit Nvm, 23.08'd. Yes!!!!! Thanks OP!!!

  • Damn wish there was a discount for PS4….

  • Haven't played any of the Need For Speed games since Underground / Underground 2. What's everyone's opinion on the current games?

    • I liked Carbon, drifting through the hills. Hated Shift, and 1 of the newer ones where you needed to do a burnout to join an event!

This (to me) is like Carbon, and I like it :) sure the AI suck sometimes - 1 minute they're slow on a straight, the next minute they're leaving you for dead! But it's just fun :)

Give it a shot at these sorta prices

      • Thanks for offering up your opinion on the game. Wasn't worried about the price and definitely expecting arcade-style escapism rather than any sort of sim. It was more that I'd heard the games had gone downhill in recent years. Might take another look at this one. Cheers!
