  Wow…BLOWN AWAY !! an actual discount at COLES Blacktown…. now this is reason for celebration !!!
  You know I have lived in 27 suburbs in my life but in the last 5 years I've been shopping in Blacktown Coles(and at the local Woollies) most of the time.
  I noticed that store specific discounts are pretty rare compared to other stores, and very rarely any big discounts like this, it's usually you guys charge more here for some things…at first i never understood it.

  Once a week they used to wheel out a big old dirty trolley of very old fruit and Vegies. Produce that in any other suburbs would have definitely been dumped (These were sold at about 30% off) …….NOW they would't dare offer this to consumers in other suburbs but demographics obviously take place here.
  On top of flogging off grade C/D produce at the same price or often higher as the other stores grade A/B stuff they charge more for other items. Weekly discounts often become empty shelves in on or two days, they wouldn't dare allow this to happen in other suburbs.

  I know exactly what they're doing here… Poorer people don't expect very much, don't know any different and the rarely put in official complaints about it, they have other more pressing issues to deal with.
  The quality of the produce is somewhat acceptable to them but NO WAY IN THE WORLD would it be acceptable to the shoppers in the nicer suburbs.

  Its an interesting phenomenon that these people are taking advantage of, but some one has to buy this lesser produce.
  But why charge more for it ???
  Filthy rich powerful greedy organisations like this, continue to rip off the entire consumer chain, from consumers all the way down to the farmers, this has been happening so long now and we keep on helping get fat and filthy rich, help send off their poorly performing CEO's to a $10M holiday… I mean really… wtf !!

  this was a promo running a week or so ago but i thought it had ended …. i bought quite a few and the best before was a month or so later ….

      exact same deal , worked out 50c each ….. just check the best before date if your buying a bundle , not that its a big deal
