    Lookin secure there buddy!

  • Your site is dangerous

  • Not sure what is going on there - it is a shopify website and when i click on the link i don't see what you are seeing? Its a https:// site?
    Where are you located?

    • +1

Its because its a redirect to a https://
They're never trusted as a standard.

You need to link your .com directly rather than a shopify site or whatever.

      • okay, thanks i will follow up with my mate and let him know

  • Warranty voiding fundraising! Love it!

    • what do you mean?

      • +1

He means using a non Nespresso pod in a Nespresso machine voids the warranty.

  • Are you sick of selling chocolate and raffle tickets to fundraise?
10 pods per pk - sell for $10 a Pack

    No
I buy 16 pods (Dolce Gusto), that's 50c per pod. Coles sells Nespresso compatible pods @ 10 for $5

    • Then this deal isn't for you, that is okay :)
Fundraising isn't about 'the best price'. Though this is a good deal for fundraising - it is more than double the margin of the cadbury chocolate equivalent.
Spend $750 buying fundraising chocolate from cadbury and you make about $400-$500 in profit.
Generally people are prepared to pay a little more for something when it is for fundraising, and the school is making the money.

      • I dont mean to gang up on you, honestly, I understand you're trying to offer something to help schools (Ive previously worked for Education Department for 5 years).
        But, when you say this:
"Customise the packaging with your own school sticker (you supply and stick on pack yourself upon receiving stock)"

What stops them from buying the cheap pods @heal mentions, and printing off branded paper gift bags or what not?

You're right, the buyer (end consumer) tends to care less when the school is making money; but the school cares about the buy price….

Just curious is all; feel free to explain the advantages of this over what I've suggested, and I'll pass your business onto the 4 or so school fundraising teams I'm still involved with.

      • The chocolates are selling at my work place. The bars are $1 and are slightly smaller than what you buy at Coles for the same price. I've bought some mostly because it's convenient and supporting my friend's school. If they were $2, when you could buy a bar for $1 I don't think they would sell as well as they do. With coffee pods, although you say they are good quality people won't know until they get them home. If they already use generic pods then I think people will balk at spending double what they could previously buy. This is just my opinion. I use Dolce Gusto and would love to buy cheaper generic pods. I'm thinking of buying an Aldi machine & pods.

  • I believe it is easier, looks more professional and better quality! - As the packaging looks professional they will sell better. It looks less like a backyard hack.
The quality of the coffee is also far superior - same stuff as in the coffee from www.coffeewithbite.com.au (that is why you are getting the warning apparently - i checked with my mate who runs the show)
The boxes are branded with "MySchoolCoffee" on the left side of the box as per the website pic and there is a space to the right to place a sticker - the pic on the website has a generic emblem there at the moment but is actually white space.
It is easy to make it look like your schools product, a bit like the custom wine label offers that I'd seen around years ago but are probably not allowed anymore!
    cheers
