+$8.95 for standard shipping bringing the total to $40.40. Should update title to reflect shipping price.

  • Free shipping would get more buying notice here

    Wow, that's a very expensive laundry basket…

    • Hello, yes compared to a basket that doesn't collapse, it is more expensive but if you compare it with other collapsible laundry baskets made out of the same material (i.e. at any major camping, boating store), it is very reasonably priced - and now on sale too.

Yeah free shipping and I'd buy it. I bought some of the collapsing basins from your last deal. Happy with them.

  • I'm a fan of folding silicone bowls and things for hiking but these make no sense to me. They're heavier than their cheap non-foldable counterparts and I can just fill a standard basket with things so that its bulk is utilised while traveling. Except for packing in a suitcase or similar (why?) I have no idea why these are useful. Can anyone enlighten me?

    • For folding down and sliding into a small space in your laundry.

I'd also be on it with free shipping, but I can't bring myself to cough $40 for a washing basket, although I do like the idea.

You could store this under an Ensemble bed. But… You could also just store it in the laundry. Like on top of a washing machine or dryer, it takes up no floor space…

      • For most laundries, yes. But I've seen some really tiny laundries, which are a front-loading washing machine with a front-loading dryer on top. More like a cupboard than a laundry.

    • Each to their own I guess. IMO this is tiny for a domestic laundry basket.

For two people in a small apartment, where this is no massive washing loads done, and there is no "top of a washing machine or dryer" (because they're stacked), it's a very good solution.

      one word… motorhome.

  • Being short on space I use something like this:

which folds completely flat. Think I got it from KMart or BigW.

Hi all, I have listened and it seems that if I offer free shipping on the basket I will sell more? I'm curious to see if that is indeed the case so I am now offering free shipping of the laundry basket purchase only. If you have made a purchase already of just the basket, I will refund your shipping. If I can say anything, I stand behind the quality product.
