Not sure why op wants to publish his Mayer gift card details via link in the post..

    • Kinda suss.

    • Was posting through mobile so made mistake. But too late now. Someone already cashed on it :(

      • Lesson learnt. I tried to PM you but you have not turned on messaging.

        • I guess yes, lesson learnt but in a hard way. Not a way to start your morning.

@Sid04: WOW! Someone actually stole from you! C'mon guys! OP is doing the community a favour by posting a deal and whoever that stole his credit please return it back.. That is a low life act for god sake!

        • @ykwon10: Thanks for your support mate, Not getting my hope up but ya good to get credit back.

        • +1

@Sid04: Try contacting Myer or COTD to track down transaction. Maybe something comes out of that as you have proof of actual gift card on your hand.

        • @ykwon10: I did contact Myer and they are looking into it but don't know if they will be able to sort out, as someone has already purchased some product online. So will see if they are able to contact the person who used my credit and can ask him politely to refund me or else i have to live with it and be more careful next time while posting anything through my mobile.

@Sid04: Oh it was an actual gift card, wow. I thought it was a link to buy Myer gift cards. Hopefully you get it reimbursed, that scum should be banned from OzBargain. 😡

        • +1

@TheOneWhoKnocks: Ya it was link to my gift card, I kept it open in my browser as wanted to use this afternoon and was in rush to catch train this morning so copied that link over here by mistake. And just got call from Myer and they said it cannot be reimbursed and nothing much can be done. Bit disappointed but at the it was my mistake should have checked twice before posting the deal.

@Sid04: It's not even my gift cards and I'm enraged. What a low life a$$hole…

      • Hey Sid sorry about what happened :(

Can you clarify what you did originally so others wont make the same mistake?
Im feeling abit paranoid cos I sometimes use my mobile to post deals and links

        Thanks

        • Hi mate, I kept my voucher link open in browser as I was planning to use it yesterday and while posting COTD deal I wanted to quickly grab the link to COTD website so tried to open the link from my email, but as I was in hurry to catch train in morning by mistake I copied voucher link which was already opened in my browser. I'm feeling bit paranoid as well but I think it was my mistake as I should be more careful. I would only advise to check your deal before posting from mobile as it's easier to identify your mistake in laptop/desktop then in phone.

Sorry to hear that. What a dog act. How much was it for anyway. Can't you report the card as stolen at least.

        • +1

I lost $100 and I did report the card as stolen to Myers but it was already used quickly yesterday morning for full value before I realised my mistake so it cannot be refunded.

          @Sid04:

Sorry to hear that mate. Maybe report it to the cops as well (online crime)? Whoever did it that's just absolutely pathetic. What goes around comes around. Low life scum.

@dins: that's messed up. Sorry to hear

    • Even if he removed the link, it could still be copied from revisions.

  • Might want to change that link.

    • Too late, Someone already used it :( not too sure if i can do anything now.

      • You can try contact myer and report it. They can cancelled the order that someone used your card.

        • Thanks mate, will do that straightaway.

  • I don't get it - is this code only for people who have used REWARD1 code previously?

  • bought this 6 x Finish Quantum Powerball with Baking Soda Dishwashing Caps 45pk, 270 caps for $44.80, $0.167 each. I paid ClubCatch after trial, so far I had 20 deliveries since, worth it. I only buy when they're real bargains and mostly I need - includes some SD & HHD etc.

  • Did anyone use reward1 and not get an email for REWARD2 ? I talked to cotd chat and they said it was sent to my email, but couldnt find it anywhere on gmail. However they were kind enough to give me a $20 store credit, so great customer service.

    • I did use reward1 and received email yesterday for Reward2.

    • I had the same thing, no email at all about reward2 (gmail account) but I did use reward1 - I also used reward2, while it was active.

    • +2

I never got an email advising of REWARD2.

      I used REWARD1 and REWARD2.

Lucky for me Sid04 posted about REWARD2 (at considerable personal cost). So that is how I found out about REWARD2.

Also lachlan1 warned of the short expiry of REWARD2. It would have been so easy to have missed it.

      So thanks Sid04 and lachlan1.
