Hmm, I'm not seeing the Hatlifter stout at that price. The MDM August offers for me are showing a Carlsberg 4 pack and some John Boston ones.

    • I've added those two and here's the stout.

      • I can see the stout, just not that price. It is showing $18.99 a six pack.

        • Are you a My Dan Murphy's member and logged in? I can see the member offer price in red and it reflects that in the cart.

        • @sween64:
Yeah I am. I'm in Brisbane. Maybe a regional deal. Or more likely (joke) that they know I'm a stout and porter buyer as that is all I buy from them so they excluded dark beer centric customers from the offer…

It shows as $14 for me. Richmond, Vic

        • @sween64: No hatlifter for me @$14 when added to cart. Am in NSW. May be state-based?

        • +1

No stout in SA. Shame as probably only deal I would have considered out of this lot

        • @WalterM:

          Hatlifter is Vic only

        • @mikey31: Weird it's not listed under "My Offers" (& I've got Melbourne QV as my store)

but if I add it to my cart it shows up as $14

Carlsberg looks the bargain at $$ per litre theyre 500ml cans.

Its a 4 pack, not a six. The carton price is way cheaper/l, and around $60 for a 500ml Euro carton is a pretty regular price (eg Becks, Heineken).

    Pretty average month

  • Nice. Gonna crack another woody.

Right. But what will you be drinking?

  • im logged in but i cant get the member price :s weird

  • 666 vodka is a nice Tasmanian made drop for that price.
Not great value ($40 or less would be) yet a good price.

    Worst beer deals yet.

  • You could not pay me to drink Kingfisher beer ….

    • I for one think it's a great beer

      • agree. even though it is brewed in Aus. Still a decent beer.

        • having spent a few months in india recently you definitely don't want the stuff made in India - comes with bonus headache inducing glycerine!

Kingfisher is a cheap, poorly made piss-in-a-bottle lager for a country that doesn't have any respectable 'tradition' when it comes to producing quality alcohol. One of worst countries to get a drink in, but don't fret - if you're into pharmaceuticals you've hit the jackpot!

Kings was the only beer worth drinking over there.

          @buckerooni:
Lion / Singha stout is pretty widely regarded.
Later in life I've sort of come to the understanding that standard lagers of any sort are just simple drink cold and forget drinks. Like soft drinks.

          @Mobe1969:
          Spot on

  • What's the difference between Carlsberg Green and regular Carlsberg?

    • they are the same. This one is just in a "green color can".

      • Oh I thought they were always in a green colour can?

    Whats dry July?

    • You'd think that given its the end of dry July that Uncle Dan would go balls out with some cracking offers to get everyone back into the swing of things…….whilst not doing anything to hurt Uncle Dan's bottom line at the same time.

Let's have some more Hop Thief type deals as that was a bobby dazzler.

    • Exactly.

  • I'm not a gin aficionado but I really like Sloane's.

Oh yeah and don't forget cash rewards, 7.5% on spirits until 02/08

Ok price. Still miss June special with Asashi 500ml cans.

If anyone interests in a good larger and happen to have Costco membership. May I recommend Budvar Czech Larger $40/case. Decent drop and exceptional value (if you already have Costco membership). currently selling at Dan's for $65/case.

    • This is great info, thanks! Might get a membership for that price…

Jerry..these Pretzels will make me Thirsty..Oh wait, they come with beer.. Perfect!!

Talisker Storm is pretty decent @$67 - Much more approachable than the heavy peat / smoke-monster Islays like Laphroaig, yet still very distinctive

    • +2

Decent drop, but less than $3 discount is pretty uninspired.

Not part of these deals, but Lagavulin is at a pretty good price right now. $84.95 each. Don't forget 7.5% cashback with cash rewards and you can use 5% off WISH gift cards.

  • Stoneleigh for $8.50 is a scorcher of a deal, normally $20 a bottle.

  • Ehhh…those beer deals :(
