    how tight is jetstar with the flight times?

    the departure time for the flight i'm eyeing to price match is 70 mins apart.

    be happy to pay tiger prices but I have a jetstar gift card to use :(

      Leaving at a comparable time. Both flights must leave:
      Within one hour of each other if they're domestic or flights between Australia and New Zealand
      Within one hour of each other if they’re international flights within Asia
      Within the same calendar day if they’re international flights (excluding flights within Asia and flights between Australia and New Zealand)

      Don't think they would purposely doing that. If they just didn't want to match they could have just removed the price match guarantee all together. The purpose of the guarantee is so to 'steal' customers that would otherwise fly with other airlines.

      Yep same with Sydney to gold coast flights. Many flights are 1hr 10mins apart strategically set to avoid the Price beat.

    Just checking out the Jetstar price beat guarentee as I would prefer JQ over TT.

    The flight must depart within 1 hour to get the price beat.

    Looking at the departure times, for example MEL-ADL, the Tiger flight departs 17:20 and the Jetstar flight departs 18:25. Therefore it does not meet the conditions to get the price beat as the difference is 1 hour 5 mins.
