    Better than Oud

  • My connection decided to turn flaky just as I was checking out. I received confirmation from Paypal, but the webpage threw an error instead of a confirmation. Can anyone tell me whether they received any confirmation email from Chemist Warehouse after purchase (I unchecked the "newsletter" checkbox before finalising the order).

    Great deal, by the way.

    • +1

Yes you should receive a confirmation email from Chemist Warehouse with your order number. I'm not sure if this happens instantaneously after you make the purchase?

      • Thanks. I emailed them just in case.

        • +1

I got an order confirmation email within 30 seconds of placing an order.

        • +1

@nismo: Thanks. Stupid internet connection :)

        • @Make it so: Update: they responded and my order has been sorted out. Good service.

  • Is this cheapest it's ever been?

    • +3
      • Cool bought

    • +4

I've been buying them at $10 and $15. Chemist Warehouse always has sales around this price. $27 is their regular price

      • +1

I've been buying them at $10 and $15.

        for the 200mL?

        • Of course, there is only 200mL of CK One and CK Be. I'm trying to give away my CK One. I prefer CK Be more

      • I've been buying them at $10 and $15.

        From which store?

        • Chemist warehouse, their prices are standard across the board. You can ask for price match/beat from other pharmacists

        • +3

@lovepeoplenotmoney: Yup, but if ~$25 has been the lowest so far, how have you been buying it at $10 or $15 is my question.

        • @virhlpool: Read from earlier, there's always sales throughout the year. Few years ago I picked up a few bottles at $10-15. I wish I had the receipt, was probably around $13. Maybe the prices have increased a couple bucks but don't be the fool that pays the regular price $27.

        • +2

@lovepeoplenotmoney: Why so many upvotes then?

        • -3

@virhlpool: Ask them their reasons, I wouldn't upvote a regularly priced product, nor would I be foolish to pay for a regularly priced product. I would only upvote if the price was the price I previously paid. Maybe there's people that want to get this advertisement trusted for their stats, or for Chemist warehouse since they employ a lot of people and have investors?

Lot's of reasons about up-votes and nothing clear or defined. Down-votes are more trustworthy than up-votes because you want to pay for least trouble with lowest to no down-votes made by non-conformists that critically assess the situation rather than a chance for a positive experience that are susceptible to be conformists and friends of the OP or seller.

Sellers do pay people to up-vote. The ads you see about making money from home to do marketing others don't want to do at a fraction of the price of the media, and more effective too.

        • +5

@lovepeoplenotmoney: mate, you have a lot of accusations but no proof to back them up.

people are voting +ve on this because amongst other things, it's the cheapest price around right now for a popular, classic fragrance. so unless you post a deal on a time machine to travel back to ah, a few years ago to buy it when the price was at um, probably around $13, wildly claiming plus-voters are being paid by the OP (ha! i damn well wish!) is delusional.

        • -3

@tdw: Where are the accusations or are you projecting your own contradiction? Seller do pay people to false market their business and products. Maybe you meet some struggling small businesses, even medium businesses are struggling to feed their employees. Or better yet, attend those dodgy marketing/networking events held around the place and see how they market? Or even better yet go directly click on those work from home ads?

These claims aren't wild, in fact, these claims openly challenge your preconception and naivety. All that is being said by the regular $27 price as a foolish purchase is to wait for when they are $15 and buy enough to last you until the next promotion. To think there's no way that you can get a better price is also foolish and limited to your own capacity. Just letting people that do what to get a real bargain be able to expect how cheap CK Be and One for. So go ahead and buy it for $27, the rest of us that don't want to pay the idiot price will wait because we have done so and can keep doing so.

        • +2

@lovepeoplenotmoney: you're the only one in here accusing the plus-voters of being paid off by the op or chemist warehouse or whoever your delusional mind cranks out. So yeah, onus is on you to prove it.

Onus is also on you to prove it's been $10, $13, $15 recently before you go around insulting others as fools.

Otherwise no amount of fragrance can mask the stench of your arrogance and ignorance

        • +4

          @lovepeoplenotmoney:
If you are concerned that I am paying fellow ozbargainer's for the +votes then let me enlighten you, I am not. This deal is only a deal right now, it may be cheaper later on, but until that moment comes, this is the cheapest price you can buy it for right now.

If you do not find this to be a good deal, then that is completely fine and I respect your decision, however you have no right to blatantly accuse me of paying other ozbargainer's to up-vote this deal, I am merely doing my best to provide this community the best possible deals currently available.

        • -1

@martybt: Pardon you, there is no accusation made other than what is hypocritically alleged against me out of contradiction. To beg the question of why people would bother up-vote a regular-priced vote was made below

virhlpool 6 hours 20 min ago
@lovepeoplenotmoney: Why so many upvotes then?

To which the response was supplied:

@virhlpool: Ask them their reasons, I wouldn't upvote a regularly priced product, nor would I
be foolish to pay for a regularly priced product. I would only upvote if the price was the price I
previously paid. Maybe there's people that want to get this advertisement trusted for their

          too.

Clearly no accusation you paid people to up-vote was made. To report that I have been purchasing CK One and more so CK Be at $10-15 a 200mL bottle is my right. To advise everyone that the regular price of $27 can be avoided when the discounted price of ~$15 can be purchased during the Chemist Warehouse sales. Logic inductively demonstrated that by stocking up on ~$15 per 200mL bottle, $27 per 200mL are unneeded.

Bottom line: get your logic in order and reinvest the money you would save per 200mL bottle in reading comprehension courses

    • +3

      i've bought it at $24.29

  • -8

Why would I want to spray my toilet with CK m8?

    • +9

So your toilet shitz smell nice

  • Thank you… bought! Heck its 200ml!

  • Well, wanna buy one

    • +1

      Unisex,works for both! :)

      • +1

Just saw it, so edited my comment! Thanks bro! Already bought!

  • "Fragrances - Womens" :o I always thought it was mens :o

    • +1

Haha yeh thats what I first thought, however search it up on Google, this was CK's first Unisex fragrance I believe?

    • +2

      here's 200l of piss

Whose? Get your units correct first unless your piss is in litres.

  • Can you buy this instore for the same price?

    • Yes, there were plenty at Highpoint VIC, but not sure about other stores?

  • -1

"for both him and her" uhhh. So is it more for men or women?

    • +2

      individualistic and all inclusive

It's individual to you but for everyone regardless of gender. Surprised that you find that confusing. It also combines man and woman with one provocative scent in an erotic way.

        • +5

          What?

        • +6

Well your name is either Joe No or Jo Eno, hence the confusion. (Just trying to make a joke, sorry if it's not funny.)

        • +3

People use senses besides the nose to identify a person as either male or female… ;)

        • +1

people are more likely to mistake you for being intellectually deficient

        • -1

Oh look someone who joined the party late with an attempt at a wry comment. Bravo lil boy. Here's a sticker.

        • +1

          @joeno: salty bro?

edit: is it one of those scratch and sniff stickers? i love those scratch and sniff stickers.

        • -1

          You rode the wrong bandwagon.

        • +1

@joeno: it's an entertaining ride seeing you dig a deeper hole for yourself :D

  • +2

This is a great deal, one of the best in a while :)

    • Not really. Read my comment above.

  • Still one of the best and definitely more a Men's than Women's fragrance.

  • Thanks ordered one.

  • +6

    Thanks ordered One

  • +21

Bought it just because the ozbargain community is saying that it is a good deal… :)

    • Me too ;-)

      • If I was you.. I'd wanna be..

  • Thanks, I just bought one. I must say I have bought three Davidoff Cool Waters from CW in the past, and two have been watered down duds which I ended up binning… I feel like every time I buy fragrance from them its a gamble!!
Holding thumbs this one is not from a bad batch!!

    • Chemist Warehouse selling fakes? Anyone else experienced the same? Thought they were pretty legit..

      • +2

I did some research and apparently they are watered down originals, not sure how it works but its apparently legit…
        Just depends on the batch..

        • +6

Could it be EDT vs. EDP?

        • It is reformulation. A constant in fragrance industry.

    • +4

You are all muppets, they don't sell fakes, or have a big water factory to take out fragrance and put in the water. They are genuine fragrances, some through local suppliers and some through international channels. Some fragrances last on skin longer than others.

    • +1

Cool water evaporates on warm skin.

  • +1

I like the smell but it vents out really fast, wish there was a perfume then just this spray/ diluted Parfum.

    • Spot on. Nice fragrance but dies off very quickly.
Not one to bother with for a night (or day) out, regardless of price.

  • This erotic cologne combines man and woman with one provocative scent.

    So it's for the androgynous?

Has any woman ever found a cologne "erotic"?

    • +3

The marketing seems to infer a substitute for KY.

      • So you turn up for your date and you're both wearing the same cologne. Women are wearing cologne now right, that's not just some marketing babbling idiocy right. :p

  • +24

We use the same ear phones, buy the same rechargeable batteries, now let's all smell the same~!!!

    • -1

      "same ear phones"
That's a lot of different miscellanous fungus transmitted to everyone's ear hole

  • +1

good price but this perfume is really outdated

    • so it's vintage..?

      • One of the comments I saw on Amazon is "it ages well"

    • +12

I had no idea that a fragrance/smell could be outdated. Someone will tell you "eeEeEkkK! Omg that smells so old, what is that, vinegar?" Seriously, outdated, seriously?

If anything the scent of the spray is literally for any occasion, time of day/night and any year, its easy and refreshing.

      • +1

what im trying to say here the perfume DOES NOT smell bad, yes its refreshing but its just backdated many years back since 1994.

    • +1

The smell of it brings me back to my high school days.. in the 90s.

  • +6

Can't believe the free shipping is still working!

And I have no idea why I just bought one of geese, but thanks..

  • Thanks guys,

Good deal but going to go in store for this as I pass by my local every day to work :P

EDIT Scratch that! looks like these items listed here are ending on 7/8/16 I'll place my bets tomorrow morning the prices will change

  • +2

This thing could get you laid in the nineties

    • +2

      So you're telling me there's a chance…

    • I've used this same stuff since 2007 and still to day use it :P

Sometimes change is a good thing but personally I myself find this product perfectly fine

      • +2

Have you got laid since 2007?

        • +2

I'm married for the past 5 years 😃

        • +6

@Gomo: so not in the past 4 years? :p

    • This thing could get you laid in the nineties

So nursing home workers might get lucky?

  • +6

I stopped using these perfumes as they don't last beyond 1 hour. They don't make them like they used to in the past or maybe chemist warehouse buys fakes.

I just use lynx lasts 8 hours

    • +1

Unsure maybe you had a bad batch but I can still smell it after 8hrs.. maybe your right there could be fake batches floating around or watered down ones..

    • Agreed- very short lasting fragrance. Confirmed by reviews on Basenotes.
You need 200ml to get through the week!!
Industrial smelling dog soap - a 1990s classic.
But hey, at this price you can't go wrong.
