Solo "Game on" Undies Free with Any Two Solo Purchases ($2 Spend Max)

690

Impress your loved ones with these super stylish, yellow, 'game on' underpants, free when you buy any two solo products at Coles or Coles Express from 27/05/10 to 04/07/10. This week you can get 2 1.25L Solo Bottles for $2 (saving $1.46).

As an added bonus, these undies are 'lucky' undies. I am not sure what this means but it has got to be a good thing! Multiple redemptions are allowed, so get one for every day of the week. That way you never will have to go without wearing a pair again!

Fine print: Buy any TWO Solo products (any size/variant) from a participating Coles store during the promotion period, to receive your pair of Solo lucky undies… so it is a redeem in store and not a post away thing, which is even better.

  • lol, awesome!

Does it come in different sizes or is it pretty much one size fits all

  • +10

Might be a bit embarrassing to redeem a large amount of undies in store. I'll still get some :)

These undies look like they would be ideal for doing pelvic thrusts while playing guitar hero - they should be enough to keep your junk secure.

positive just for the amusement appeal

  • These are so cool im going to get a few pairs!

A little off topic, but is anyone planning on watching the season finale of LOST tonight?

    • -2

yeah LOST, finally its the END, after years of excitement,
looks like its a double-double episode?
anyway, hate the ad breaks, so i will be watching the "recorded" version
i'm guessing the ending would be- similar to the beginning, another plane crash
but now its jack thats looking after the island
      looking forward to it!!!

    • -2

You havent seen it yet? :P

      • -1

        good or bad??
but dont say any more than that

        • -1

I too would like to know whether or not it is good or bad?

Does it tie up all those questions which everyone no doubt has been asking?

        • -1

I'm not even going to say either of those. It would be a bastard thing to do.

        • -1

It can't be "Good" or "Bad" I think it did an admirable job :)

If the Socceroos wear those undies when they play they may distract the opposition enough to win the Cup! ;-)

Just got my pair. They weren't advertised anywhere in store. I had to go to the information counter to pick mine up after purchase. There were at least two sizes there 28-32" Medium and 32-36" Large.

Thankfully they say 100% Genuine Lucky Undies on the tag so you will know if you are getting counterfeit ones. They are also 100% Cotton and seem to be pretty good quality

WOW, this morning I was playing around with my Laptop drivers and managed to completely stuff the computer up. Now, only 15 minutes after putting on my Lucky Undies, I have managed to get everything back to normal. These undies really do work!

    • +1

Yes, that's why I never fix my PC in the nuddy ;-)

  • Thanks Ben, it look like a good deal. Will pop into Coles today, haha!

I want to give a negative but I'm too noob. Bought the two solo's at east kew coles today. There were no undies on the shelves so at checkout I enquired about them. The checkout chick hadn't heard of the promotion so then called for the manager over the loudspeaker to "come to customer service to assist with finding the lucky undies". This was extremely embarrassing but she then started calling out across to all the other checkout chicks enquiring about these "lucky undies". I am not very self-conscious but almost every customer in the busy store seemed to be laughing about my lack of "lucky undies". After ten minutes I finally got the undies. They were free yet really weren't worth the wait and the lady insisted I wait until the mystery was resolved. Never again.

You see, if you already had a pair of Lucky Undies and wore them to the shop, I am sure it wouldn't have happened

    • +1

My Coles had an endcap full of Solo and the box of undies on the middle shelf. Much better way of promoting it methinks!

After digging through the box, only saw Med (28-30") and Lrg sizes (32-36")

    • +2

That's why I will go there with no pants/undies on when I ask. I'm sure they will find a pair quick smart!

    .

  • edited…. is this "lucky undie" really small, I got medium size 28~30 from Coles…

    • I think most people are wearing them on their head anyway ;-)

  • I work next door to a Shell Coles Express so I just ducked next door thinking I could come back to work with a pair of undies on my head, but they don't have the $2 deal there - cheapest single item was around $3.60 for a 600ml bottle (couldn't even see any cans) so I'll have to wait for a proper coles supermarket!

  • +4

got mine today! gf told me to take them off my head on the way home tho :(

  • apparently they have run out of the free 5000 http://www.sololuckyundies.com.au/

  • where do we redeem them? I bought 20 bottles today and the person at coles didn't say anything? I thought you redeemed them online?

    • Redeem in store. There should be a box of undies near solo shelf.

      • Yeah, either there or at the customer service desk.

    • +2

Whatever you do don't swap an old pair for a new one in the box ;-)

  • Cheers, got one for everyday of the week. For only $14, not bad at all.

  • On a random note, it seems the undies themselves have a price. I was at another Coles and they had a shelf tag of $5.00/pair lol

I guess that gets zeroed whenever 2 Solo products are scanned.
