Got the last deal as well.

  • Thanks - cheaper than some "boutique" air freshener/fragrances.

    • +2

Cheaper than some boutique toilet gels

  • +1

    Well done OP.

You may want to add CK One Shock for Him, which is also $26.99 at the moment:

    • Received mine on Saturday.

    • Received mine today.

For those who may be concerned that the fragrances might be old stock, you can check the date of manufacture for your fragrance here http://m.checkcosmetic.net/ you will find the batch code at the bottom (most bottles) of the cologne/fragrance bottle. I had recently purchased the CK One from the previous deal and had found to have mine manufactured in Feb 2016. Enjoy! :)

    • Thanks. Bookmarked.

  • Very good for the money.

    • -5

      Very good for the dunny

      • Was that your attempt at toilette him out?

        • *humour :D

  • Eau De Toilette so it won't last as long. Good to keep in the gym bag though.

    • FYI the concentration of fragrance oils (EDT vs EDP) has less to do with longevity / performance than the actual aromachemicals / compounds used in the fragrance.

      • Interesting. I did not know that.

        • It seems very counter-intuitive hey, as you'd assume a higher percentage of oils would lead to increased longevity, but this isn't always the case.

      • So any male EDP's for men at a reasonable price or readily available?
I remember 10 years ago when you could get these 20 ml bottles or similar.

    • Just to respond to this comment, which I thought was unfounded. I bought the CK one EDT in the previous deal, I put it on around 8 this morning and can still notice the scent 8-10 hours later.

For the record, I checked the batch video and more was dated January 2016.

  • thanks! I'm set for cologne for the rest of the year.

  • Just like the CK One, $27 is the regular price

    • Mate, that way ALL perfumes at Chemist Warehouse are at regular price. :)

      • Mate, shop there more often, or ask the staff to do price check history. But it's no matter unless you're running out right here, right now

It is recommended for daytime wear.

Why? Does it attract night-time predators? Glow in the dark?

    • *It is recommended to be used before you hunting for dat pusssiiieeeeee" ey b0ss franku,2013

    • +2

Lighter notes, smells chirpy and mellow. Night time fragrances usually are a bit heavier, which is paradoxical because hotter day times accelerate how much evaporates

  • +1

Generally speaking, if there are any fragrances you know you're interested in it's worth checking out to see if Chemist Warehouse stock it. They don't have any niche or many of the higher price point designer scents, but they are almost guaranteed to have the cheapest prices in my experience (I own a good 20 odd for what it's worth).

  • How does ck shock.differ?

  • +5

It's better to go to Chemistwarehouse on your day off and try all these perfumes before buy. Just because the OP and a few other members said it smells nice doesn't mean you like it as well. You may like different cup of tea.

They do give out samples of perfumes to try before buy.

    • Took the risk last time and fortunately I like it. But what you said as well.

  • +2

Now we can all smell the same.. once again!

  • Got one! Thanks Op :)

  • I'm in store

$27 ones are pretty much the whole CK line

    Also CK Shock smells disgusting

    • +1

I guess each to their own, but CK One Shock is the only fragrance from the
Calvil Klein line I consider to be 'alright'. Not a fan of them generally.. But yeah, Calvin Klein fragrances in general are very inexpensive.

    • I was tossing up between free ($27) and Euphoria ($34.99) Free quite weak so got Euphoria. They didn't have BE out of stock so will get it online

  • +1

FYI Terre D'Hermes is $59.99 there at the moment too. They finally got stock after being out for 6+ months. You won't find it cheaper. Amazing scent.

I won't buy any discount perfume from so called warehouse. Most of them expired or closed to the date and they smell different to those sold in myer/dj

    • +2

Can you show us what documented proof you have of this?

The bottle I got in the previous deal was manufactured Feb this year and the one I bought in a previous deal for my wife late last year was manufactured 3 months before. Neither looked, lasted or was smelling any different to bottles I have purchased previously either.

    • you missed your opportunity to accuse them of "watering down" their fragrances lol

  • +2

Note that longevity with CK BE is horrible, only 3 hours as per every reviewer: http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Calvin-Klein/CK-be-275.ht…

    • -2

      All EDT are short lasting

      • +2

I don't agree with you at all.

I bought the CK one EDT in the previous deal, I put it on around 8 this morning and can still notice the scent 8-10 hours later.

I will say though, some people's skin responds better to fragrance than others.

A friend's GF liked some fragrance I was wearing, went out and bought it for her man and it didn't smell half as good on him. This has happened several times.

        • Agree with @nismo. The strength, longevity and performance are very subjective to a person and there is no one real answer to a calculate this as fragrances react differently to different body types. You can only get a decent opinion from others however there is no better way other than trying out the fragrance yourself.

      • +1

Almost all men's fragrances are EDT's and some of the expensive ones have great longevity. You don't usually get great longevity and silage at this cheaper price range regardless of designer branding.

  • Darn, I paid $40 last week when the other deal was posted!

  • +1

i prefer "odeur de toilette" over "eau de toilette"

  • Anyone know if this is stronger than eau de toilette? I got the eau de toilette from the previous deal :D

    • +1

They are both Eau De Toilette, the difference is this one is CK Be the previous one is CK One

      • Thanks for the info. I bought it anyway, another bottle of perfume which lasts for……a few years maybe lol?

    • +1

That's just the type of fragrance. Not as powerful as Eau De Parfum. Men's fragrances are rarely EDP.
