Might be a code error but if you want 86% off some decent speakers, give it a go. My brother got the stereo speakers when they were 70% off and is happy with the performance. Note these are "water-resistant" so perfect for your bathroom surround install.

Obviously the RRP is complete BS, they are AUD$234 on Amazon US so take the $500-something with a pinch of salt.

Be warned, the store owner is not too happy about dcikhead customers so take it easy if it is a pricing error.

    Not sure I understand this comment. Boston Acoustics is an established company, and the store is an official reseller (enter postcode 2144 at http://www.qualifi.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=…).

        Yes, I know what a white van is.

        But it is a little puzzling, as the vendor is an authorised Boston Acoustics dealer. That company has been around since the late 70s. You are more likely to have Boston Acoustics speakers in a Chrysler or Jeep than a white van, since they factory fit (generally premium) speaker systems for those manufacturers.

        I guess he just wanted to be first to comment and really has no clue about speakers. Ignorance really is bliss.

  before you get too excited about the sub, it looks like its a passive sub ie, you have to feed it from an amp

  what you're basically buying is a box with two 6" drivers inside with a ducted internal baffle which results in a single output pipe which is this odd looking tube you see there
