256GB is cheaper at Umart @219 if you have one nearby.

    • if your time and petrol are worth $4.20

Just letting people know. Its OzBargain not OzConvenience.

Also, I'd personally prefer to go to a store if its close by then wait for 3 days for AusPost to attempt to deliver and then end up sitting at a Post Office waiting for me to pick it up anyway. YMMV.

      • You really don't belong here do you…

  • The OEM Samsung SM961. Is faster and cheaper than this at ram city if anyone is interested in that.

I do have the 512 version of the 950 pro and it's been good.

    • RamCity don't even have enough stock coming in next month to cover their back orders. Good luck getting a SM961!

    • Is SM961 the same thing as 950 Pro but without the branding?

      • It's a newer version of the sm951…A little bit faster. No branding on it.

        • Could you provide a bit more context?

IS 950 Pro a faster version of SM951, or is 951 a faster version of 950 Pro?

        • @lostn:
In this order slowest to fastest
          Sm951
          950 pro
          Sm961

As someone mentioned above the sm961 is backordered so getting one might take a while.

The 950pro isn't far behind and I'm running one in a new build.

Bugger Back Ordering - Get the Samsung Pro NOW :)

        • @motion2082:
For sure. If you need it now. Then the 950 is a great drive. Get the 512 if you can afford it. If I read correctly it performs faster than the 256gb.

    Double the warranty length :)
