Cheers, so being patient for a good deal /currency sweet spot would be easier than a group buy style approach yeah? I'd be happy to organise it all but I am in TAS and postage may increase if I organised it anyway
Add your email to shoppingexpress.com.au's bladvertising. It's annoying since they're every day, but they do put drives such as the WD Reds on special every month or two.

Sure I guess. I have 8 reds and have only had to swap one out in the past 4 years so very happy with that tho

Not the cheapest price it has been but eBay's CHOICE20 coupon on a WD Red 4TB delivered is $215.20, $6.80 cheaper than cheapest on StaticIce and you get it delivered.

I find Newegg tends to have good prices on these, better when our exchange rate with US is high.
