Still skinning animals alive to make these?

Vile, cruel product, wouldn't take it if you paid me.

    • Wow! I think that needs a reference to give it some credibility!

    • +6

I respect your conscientiousness in caring for animals.

I'm sure you know many people eat lamb. A by-product of that harvesting is sheep skin. They kill the animals before they are skinned. I would be amazed if these people kill the sheep for the skin and then provide the meat to butchers. It's almost certainly the other way around.

"sheepskin is generally a by-product obtained from sheep that have been raised and slaughtered for food purposes"

One option would be to let the skins go to waste. However, I think using the skins makes more sense from an environmental perspective where we know people eat lamb.

^^^ This is true. The sheep are slaughtered for the meat industry, the sheepskin we use is a by product of this.

  • About to purchase one, but not sure which size to buy for my wife.

Normally she wear size 6AU, and her foot length is 23cm. So wonder what is the best size for her? 5 or 6?

    • I would recommend a size 5. Its better to be a little firm to begin with but they will stretch after she wears them for and hour or two.

      • Ordered, thanks for you quick reply :)

        • Anytime! Thank you for your order. Have a great night :)

  • 5 Days left or While stock lasts :) Thanks guys!
