  • Just curious - why does it matter if it gets posted to a parcel locker address? Thanks

Because they aren't using AusPost for the free post option

    • We do provide shipping options with AusPost. However, AusPost price is too expensive compare to other couriers company so it is excluded from our free shipping option.

  • Well, I almost purchased the Seagate STCS4000301. I tried to retrieve my account details (I couldn't remember if I had an existing account), which didn't work. I tried to register a new account, which also didn't work (it submits the form but provides no confirmation or error). Although, this was probably a good thing, as I noticed the STCS4000301 product page states:

Please note, this is a customize built model with brand new STCS8000301 chassis, HDD is replaced by brand new Seagate 2TB NAS HDD ST2000VN000.

Then the ST2000VN000 product page states:

The NAS HDD is taken out from brand new Seagate NAS. Never Use & Come with full warranty.

Considering these units come with the HDDs bundled (i.e. you can't purchase an empty unit), this seems a bit dodgy. Even though the website claims there is still full warranty, I reckon Seagate wouldn't feel the same way. Why have you been mixing and matching the unit HDDs?

    • Hi,

Since we only got the deal for Seagate personal cloud with 6TB (2x 3TB) and 8TB (2x 4TB) model. Therefore, we give more choice to our customer by adding a 4TB (2x 2TB) model where the hard drive are taken out from other Seagate NAS series.

The hard drives come with full warranty as it never been registered and a tax invoice with its serial number will be provided for proof of purchase. We also talk to Seagate's local distributor (when they offer us the deal) regarding the hard drive warranty and confirmed there is no problem. We can do warranty for customer if they are confused.

If you have any further enquiry, feel free to contact us :)

      Regards,
