Samsung Soundbar HW-K651 $545 at Harvey Norman (Excludes Shipping)

80

First bargain post, so let me know if I should change anything.

The cheapest I could find this model of sound bar is about $100 more expensive, so I think this may even be a mistake on Harvey Norman's website. Most other big retailers appear to have it at over $800 (JB for example).

I got this over the weekend, no issues with the pick up. Seems good for a soundbar, although I was only upgrading my basic TV sound so I was starting from a crap base. Most reviews online are quite positive.

I've had an alert set up for a soundbar for a while, this looks like a pretty good find.

  • or what about this one from Bose ?

IMO: If you want better sound then go for the Bose, if you're just after way louder volumes than your TV can handle then go the Samsung.

      • Genuinely curious, despite having just bought a soundbar, what sound equipment would you buy in the sub $600 price category that would beat this? I.e. have Bluetooth, a wifi connection and be easily used with a TV?

Edit: I just realized that you spelt out Bose and your comment may have been targeted directly at the commenter. If so, feel free to ignore my question.

        • This ticks all those boxes and I'm told releases next month. Once again IMHO it also supports a far better range of wireless multi-room speakers.
