Just a warning on shopping at the Good Guys sales - you can often go in the day before the sale and get the product at the same price - they do dodgy things with sales - such as put the prices up for sales - we went once to a special invite only event, and when looking at laptops, we lifted the sale tag, and it was almost $50 cheaper not on sale
Actually, I've seen other retailers adopting this practice too. I've no doubt there is a sale, it's just not as good a sale as you think it might be.
Caveat emptor - Buyer beware.

good guys just had a stocktake sale last weekend at logan.
i'd recommand people to check it out as it really was a bargain if you need whitegoods. i got less than half price for a perfect conditioned P&F factory second stainless steel water dispenser/ice maker fridge.
they don't give any specific examples? i normally check their 'special' prices against the others before heading out there, saves time
