        They're pretty much legal now in WA (our Premier doesn't have an issue with them) so more competitors are appearing. These new companies have better drivers (eg. can speak english proficiently, non religious, born in Australia, middle aged) than the regular taxi service so it's a growing market.

      I swear you've commented before about this :P

      Shofer has a few points better than Uber:

      • They drive company cars, so you know they're always in good condition (Camrys, for those playing at home)
      • Can choose male/female driver for those that want this feature
      • No surge pricing - handy for friday/saturday nights
      • Panic mode on the app - good feature for any of these companies to have, either for just the passenger's safety or both the passenger and driver.

      Unfortunately, not all 21 year old females are hot. I think it would be illegal to only employ hot 21 year olds (if you could find any who want to be a glorified taxi driver)
