there's an extra $3.50 (domestic) and $5.00 (international) per person fee unless you pay with "jetstar" VISA or Mastercard.
Plus, these prices only include carry on luggage. Checked in baggage is $10 for up to 20kg I believe.

For me pages load good but the time restriction is just so bad. Flights between Feb-March Only. No sales fares on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I only found 6c fares on Tuesday, Wednesday and very few on Thursday. Have fun hunting.
pay direct deposit, works for me. No fees and you have 24hrs to make up your mind
got saturday flights to melbourne - hobart and also syd - GC. slightly odd times but not bad for 6c!
Yeah, bloody site is down again. Got flights, went through all confirmation pages and on the final page… "Sorry, can't process your request at this time. Please try again later." Every time. Sucks.

Geez, thinking I almost applied for their silly card to get a glimpse at those limited fares…. LOL Happy I didn't now. Feel sorry for those who did though mainly because of their massive promotion of those fares. I must have gotten about 10 emails promoting today's sale.

I'm quite annoyed at this point. I booked my flights and everything, but didn't write down the booking confirmation number.
So just got off the phone with Jetstar, and the lady said I can't pay for this via Direct Debit - i can only get this fare if I am a Jetstar Mastercard holder!
She wouldn't even let me pay by a different credit card for the specified $3.50 charge…
And i can't sign up on the spot either…

I paid 1 return flight via a St George VISA card.
Then I realised you could select direct deposit. So I booked 2 more return flights, took down the confirmation number of 1 of them (and have paid the 12cents via direct deposit already) but didn't take down the confirmation number of the 2nd return flight because I thought it would email me the details. Still haven't received and email for the 2 direct deposit emails, but have received 1 for the one i paid via VISA
Yeh, i thought they would have emailed it to me - that would make a whole lot of sense!
You'll have to call them for your booking conf. I'm on the phone trying to get it out of them, so i can pay. Hopefully I get a different person.
It said that it may take up to 24hours to receive the email. I'll wait it out till end of the day and then give them a call…

Has anyone managed to successfully book and pay for flights but are not Jetstar Mastercard holders?

I did't use a Jetstar Mastercard I just used my ING Visa Debit card and went thru no problem paid the $3.50 each way card fee, I just got confirmation at the end and also received my itninary in my email just few mins ago.

Got 3 flights to sydney for $21.36 because i don't have a jetstar mastercard. Still happy :D
