Beer Deals at Gooddrop - Chimay Blue x12 - $68 + $7 Flat Delivery (Short Dated) Qld, NSW and Vic Metro Only

90

Only available to Qld, NSW and Vic metro regions.

Now before anyone starts going on about how the Chimay only has 10 days left on it, Chimay Blue gets better with age. I used to buy it every Christmas to drink 2 years later. So one that's had a few years on it is, in my mind, better than new (hoping it hasn't been left out in the sun!) Normally $82 at DM's.

Duvel Golden Ale x12 - https://gooddrop.com.au/duvel-golden-ale-12x330ml/ - $62.99 (73.50 at dan's, good til May '17) or 135 for 12x750ml as well. Couple of others in there, some long neck Stella's and Heineken's for the classy.

I assume it comes with the 4x Viru beers for over $50 orders too, which is actually a pretty nice beer.

  • Qld, Vic, NSW Metro should be in title too.

  • Chimay blue better than white and red? 9, 8, 7 %
Which Leffe is better? Blonde, Brine and RADIEUSE
    Duvel compare to above two?
    Why so many nice beer?!

    • Great price for the Duvel 750ml carton too!

Of the Leffe, my personal fav of the three is Brune. Then Radieuse, then Blonde

Blue/Red/White are all different styles of beer, although Blue will hold up the best with age. Red is toffee/plum/rasin, White is more fruity/spicy/clove, Blue is molasses/pepper/licorice/chocolate. I prefer Blue to the others personally, as it's a bit more complex and interesting.

With the Leffe, I prefer Radieuse, then Blonde, then Brune. These are much more "easy drinking" beers than the Chimay, and much more approachable.

Duvel is good too, and a bit more hop focused than the others.

I've been trying to find a supplier with Leffe Brune since Aldi Liquor stopped selling it. One of my all-time favourite beers. Blonde is also good but I prefer the Brune. Thanks OP! Case of Chimay Blue and a case of Leffe Brune ordered.

Gooddrop have previously posted to me in SA and the state restriction doesn't seem to be enforced at checkout.

    Flat Delivery (Short Dated)

So the beer near end date is flat?

    Unfortunate placement of words.

Thanks OP. My favourite beers but will wait for my next trip to the Netherlands where I can afford to indulge with Duvel 1.29euro(AUD1.91) and Chimay Blue 1.55euro(AUD2.30) at any supermarket. Heaven. They were actually dearer in Belgium.
