I have now bought another Black S7 Dual Sim from Quality Deals on ebay thanks the the 10% off voucher, ($659 with courier). Fingers Crossed.

However, here is my reply from Ebay.

    Hello XXX,

Thank you for contacting eBay regarding your report against shoppingsquare who fails to complete the sale with you.

XXX, although we cannot force the seller to provide the item which they claim as not available, an action has already been taken on the seller's account in a form of a defect against their selling performance the moment that they have cancelled the sale. This has been a very effective policy since last year to improve our seller's commitment in completing their sales. Sellers are aware that if these defects will accumulate on their account, they will be banned from eBay and will not be allowed to create a new account.

I understand that you really wish to have your item because this transaction is a binding contract. However, the best thing you can do now is to leave an appropriate feedback towards the seller to express your buying experience, which will be open to other buyers as well.

At the same time, you can request a refund if at least 1 day has passed since the item’s estimated delivery date. In other words, if the seller will not processed the refund directly. Here's how:

    1. Check the status of your order by viewing the item in question under your Purchase history.
    2. Under More actions, select I didn't receive my item. You can choose this as soon as 24 hours after the estimated delivery date has passed or 8 days after payment if the seller didn't give a date.
    3. On the next page, select I want a refund or I want the item. If you wish, you can also include a message to your seller.
    4. Click Send request.

To make sure that you're covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee, make sure to open your request no later than 30 days after the estimated or actual delivery date.

Thanks for bringing this report to our attention for us to take action.

    Regards,

    eBay Customer Service

  • I have still received no word from them since asking for the product (with delay) and declining their request to cancel.

I have no idea what is happening.

  • Received my refund today

  • I just bought the new S7 deal and requested cancellation, got the following response:

As you confirmed that you now prefer to cancel the order and requesting to be refunded. We will now arrange full refund for your order.

Kindly provide 24-72 hours for the refund to be process.

Again our apologies for any inconvenience caused.

For people who have said they will wait til stock comes (like I said to them before), I interpret their above email as "you were waiting for stock, now it is being cancelled."
Their communication has been terrible but I interpret that they were waiting for stock for people that refused to cancel their order.

    • I requested cancellation initiated by me few days ago but no response and no refund. Sent them another request today too.

      • I asked for a refund first before cancellation as per Ebay's recommendation and they said as above now that you have confirmed cancellation a refund will arrived in 24 hours. So dodgy.

        • go through PayPal, I got it refunded on the same day
eBay wasn't much help, the cancellation request was already raised up about shopping square and they thought it was for my new order through T-Dimension

        • Got this today…

This is regarding your purchase with us for which we have received a Negative Feedback.

We are truly apologetic for being unable to fulfill your previous order. We would like to make-up for the inconvenience caused. We are offering a $20.00 discount voucher which you can used to purchase any item from our online store www.shoppingsquare.com.au upon minimum purchase of $100.00

In return we would like to appeal if you could consider to provide us better judgement by revising the feedback to even Neutral or (if possible Positive).

We hope you could consider the offer.

          We highly appreciate your response.
