Yeah Android-Not-Enjoyed has pretty appalling feedback. They are registered as an Aussie company with ASIC but they do not have a physical presence in Australia.

The address '231 Blaxcell St South Granville NSW 2142' is just an ordinary home, not an office building, so pretty much just a camouflage.

    http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/2022913

Their allure though is that they have some of the cheapest prices, at the cost of providing the worst and unethical customer services.

Also take note that all three sites are operated under one group. Under the About Us page:

it is part of the Digital Skies group which is an Australian owned group of companies, with outlets spanning multiple countries and market places, currently in Australia the Digital Skies Group operates the retail sites Klukkur, Camerasky and Android Enjoyed

  • Never buy from them before and will never buy from them ever. Good luck to those that bought from them.

  • Can we get this highlighted or their deals banned etc? They appear every now and then.

  • Couldn't agree more. Bought a Xiaomi mi5 off them 2 months ago… didn't have the item in stock so we arranged for a slightly different model with a $30 price difference in my favour. Still haven't received the refund. Actually filed complaints with the ACCC and WA department of commerce

  • In July we added a warning to the Android Enjoyed posting block about this store, following concerns raised by users here. Since then we received some further complaints from this deal last month and there have also been media reports about this company following the Fair Trading NSW warning.

Since the company is in reality operating outside of Australia, there is probably little chance of anything improving/changing and we have therefore banned all of the Digital Skies Group Pty Ltd websites: android-enjoyed.com, camera-sky.com.au and klukkur.com.

As things stand, we don't foresee this ban being lifted in the future.

    Thanks

    • A very responsible step to take. 👍

    • Since the company is in reality operating outside of Australia,

they sound like a dropshipper. we can't really blame them when rent prices in oz is going through the roof.

      • we can't blame them…

These thoughts pop into my mind…

I sue the landlord of any building they couldn't afford to rent, to get money back?

Constable, someone stole my bike, so I thought it was ok to steal this one…. 😀

Maybe you would like to explain yourself a litle more

  • I contacted them this week, and they agreed to a refund for my phone if they didnt provide a tracking number for the repair of a returned phone by next week.

I was very hard on them, referencing some legislation at numerous points in the phone call. I am wondering if it is a massive hassle to get the refund?

    Has anyone bought from androidenjoyed.com?

They've got some pretty good pricing on the Mi5s Plus but I'm a little leery of buying from them because they don't take PayPal so there's not the comfort of their protection.

    Any experiences would be appreciated.

    Cheers

      no no no

    • IF you pay with Credit card, you can do a chargeback But that's beside the point. THe point is you get stressed and frustrated and delayed item. A lot of different forum says avoid…very tempting though. IF you do decide to get from them, would be good to update this post about your personal experience…

      No.

There was a warning from Fair Trading some time back. BE WARNED.

gee just google the name + word review and you'll see

    • No. Do a Google search on them and you will see more info.

      For example from Product Review

Have a read here, they are blocked on OzBargain https://www.ozbargain.com.au/deals/android-enjoyed.com

    • I did. I bought a Oneplus 3T last year. Personally, I had no issues with their service. I received the phone within 7 business days. The box was opened but apparently thats not uncommon with grey imports. I used my coles credit card to pay for it and I even claimed a price drop difference in excess of $100 just last month.

    • +1

Thanks for all the feedback, I'll pass on the deal, as tempting as it was.

    • I bought from them no issues what so ever

  • Tried A-e once to obtain a phone. Despite being assured the item was in stock, it took four weeks for it to arrive. Having tried to obtain a Galaxy Tablet, it is now over six weeks and still no satisfaction.
Time for Australia, Facebook, web sites and others to ban such companies from operating in Australia. Although the NSW fair trading now lists A-e as having the highest number of complaints, this is only a very small indication of the problems consumers are having with A-e if the number of poor reviews is looked at. NSW Fair Trading may have more complaints if their process wasn't so awful and didn't work.

    Any experienced OzBargainers?

    Thanks

They are so bad they are actually banned on Ozbargain. We don't allow deals to be posted from Digital Skies Group Pty Ltd

this includes all the other sites they run, such as Klukkur and Camera Sky

    • +1

      WHOA!!

That was quick response; thanks guys!

Wsa about to pull the trigger on this deal. Possibly refub?

Spoke with the customer care lass, exchanged a coupla mails and was pondering about the recourse if they turned out fraudsters.
No PayPal to protect here, but what do you guys think Mastercard would do to help in such a situation?

      • +4

What??? Still considering? What's the thanks guys was quick response if you still not convince? Just go away from that store please no but (one t or two t)

        • +1

          Was considering; not anymore.

          Thanks dragonindespair

I had decided not to proceed. Period. Thanks to the wisdom from Savas, altomic and scrimshaw

But, had I bought and the item turned refub/not as described, what would have been the help from say… Mastercard?

Thanks again guys; you might have saved me in excess of a grand!

      • +1

Mastercard would probably help by quoting "A fool and his money is soon parted"

You could buy from them and then your user name would be accurate.

  • Merged from Android-Enjoyed ripping people off

There is high number of complaints (including me) about Android-Enjoyed lately.
    https://au.trustpilot.com/review/www.android-enjoyed.com
    https://www.productreview.com.au/p/android-enjoyed.html

They stopped their online chat window. Their phone number is out of service (no ringing). They are usually slow to respond to emails but now they just don't even bother. Does anyone know if they are out of business?

A couple of years ago they had similar issues. I wish I read it before I bought anything.
