  • thanks so much for this!! i've been waiting for a good deal to go to MovieWorld and this is PERFECT!

  • this would have been perfect but im going up to QLD 7th July! Expires 30th June :(

  • ah no, I was there a couple weeks ago and the best discount i could find was entertainment book 15% off! good deal

  • +2

Terms and Conditions are a BIG gotcha, valid for residents of QLD and Northern NSW only :(

    • If you are from elsewhere, more than likely you are going to go anyway.
      Doesn't hurt to try.

Last time an offer for locals came out they just asked for my postcode.

Didn't ask for Driver's Licence or Credit Card Statement or Utility Bill… LOL
If they ask for licence then just tell them you left it in the car / at home coz u caught the train.

      =D

    • I really don't understand that part of their T&C, although I'm in QLD and it doesn't affect me but nonetheless it's illogical.
It reads as "if you are around we have to offer you a good price so you come frequently, if you don't live around, Hey! we can rip you off cause it's your trip and you are more likely to pay it anyway!"
By the way, as far as I know they check your residency just if you are going to get the VIP pass card.

  • +1

yeah they ask you for a postcode on entry, but if you want a VIP pass or any of the local offers you need to show proof of residency such as a drivers license. "OLO I 4GOT MYN" doesn't really work hey.

Outback spectacular is a waste of time! The so called pre-show entertainment is there to make you to spend more money on drinks and souvenirs. The show itself is nothing spectacular, any circus performers can do better stunts than those supposedly cowboys.

    Time and money waster!

    • Yep, I got a 50% off deal a few years ago & I still consider myself soundly ripped off! :(

I grew up in the bush, my family were all stockmen, drovers & shearers; so it ain't hard to spot a phoney! Tryhard, "wannabe American cowboy" trash all around, the food was horrendous too! :o

Save the money from that debacle and go to Dracula's instead, at the completely opposite end of the spectrum the overall experience was simply outstanding! :)

  • yeah outback spectacular is very popular with foreign visitors, i don't really see the appeal for aussies.

Really good deal for Movieworld and Seaworld!!

  • -1

Hell yeh been waiting for this one. Dreamworld was a huge disappointment. Definitely will be going here on my time off haven't been in years.

  • lol if dreamworld was a disappointment you're probbbbbably not going to like movie/sea world lol

  • will the movie world voucher work since there is a barcode and someone has probably already used this?
    or does it not matter?

    • They are not specific/one time use barcodes, I have some printed Wet N Wild vouchers here and they all have the same barcode :)

  • Thank you.

  • Anybody knows does this also apply for a non-ozzy student ?

  • ok great. Has anyone actually used one of these yet tho?

  • I need to ask, is it just the guy who buy the tickets need to show his driver license or everyone need their license ready to show the doorman with the ticket when they enter ?
I live in QLD and I am having friends from VIC visiting me. Thank you.

  • I booked a night and it was $125. $85 price is for Sun-Thur only. Would have been nice to see that in the terms but I really wasn't in the mood to argue… it's still cheap.

I won't be going to Seaworld until next weekend so won't be able to comment on the Barcode/Voucher until then.

  • very good deal! Used it last week with friends and going again this week with family members. Thanks!!!!
