    Well this site has US$245 crossed out. I doubt that AU RRP would be over $300 dearer, even when equating customs, shipping, tax.

      You'd be surprised how much designer clothing/accessories are marked up here, beyond anything that is justifiable — in my experience, prices in Australia are generally at least double, if not triple, the US or European prices.

      In any case, "D&G" is Dolce & Gabbana's cheaper, uglier, tackier diffusion line, and their watches are made in China — I wouldn't expect this to be a quality timepiece at all, and unless you absolutely love the style (i.e. have terrible taste) I doubt the price is worth it.
