    Are the crashies fixed?

    • +2

Nope, not really. Almost every time I warp through a black hole it crashes.

Watched the review of this on Good Game.
    Wasn't very flattering.

    • +1

As right as they are about this I wouldn't normally consider Good Game a reliable source. Guessing they weren't paid enough this time….

      • +2

LOL yeh I'm sure the world is watching watch Bajo says.

        • Bajo didn't even review it. It was Hex and that other crazy guy that does Pocket.

        • @GunnerMcDagget: Nichboy is pretty nuts though. Went off against trolls and that movement I prefer not to associate with (that's not to say I don't support it in principle, it's just gone really off track) when whatsername from Nintendo got fired and blamed them for it when it had absolutely nothing to do with them.

      • +1

Do you have any evidence for this? (genuine question, I'm tired of biased/sponsored/sjw games journalism, and I still enjoy Good Game)

        • I hate goodgame. They review games they haven't completed. Pretty crappy

        • I'm tired of biased/sponsored/sjw games journalism
Why do you watch Good Game then?

        • @Mr Lister: Uh, because I'm unaware of any corporate bias or sjw activism in the show - hence the question.

        • @Tihocan: THere is a fair bit even if they deny it in both regards. For instance, watch/read their reviews of Bayonetta 2 and Killer is Dead. They spend a disproportionately long period of time talking about how objectified they think the women are as opposed to talking in depth about the games themselves. More of it is in their side projects, where recently you saw Nichboy go on a massive delusional rant about how Gamergate was responsible for getting Allison Rapp fired when it had absolutely nothing to do with the movement and was actually someone else entirely who alerted Nintendo to her other work (i.e. literal prostitution), not to mention all those suggestive photos were plastered on her WORK account.

For corporate bias check any of their reviews on AAA titles (especially Mass Effect 3), as well as their recent piece on No Man's Sky itself where they used (from what I can see) fabricated death threats against the developers as another excuse to subjugate the general gaming populace by calling them "entitled", another corporate buzzword used to silence criticism about dodgy industry practices. Hell, it goes back to FFXIII where they roundly shat on it but still gave it a 7.

Believe me, they are not on the side of partiality.

      • Your telling me ABC journalists are getting paid by game companies for good reviews? Mate, that's just pure BS that you're talking.

    • +4

The Good Game review is about as accurate as you could get for it. It quickly starts feeling like every planet is just a reskinned version of the last planet.

This game worth $20 max :-(

    • +2

yeah im not paying more than $40

      • +1

If I could go back, I would have held out till it drops below $40. I think that's a fair price for this. Not the worst game…but I was hoping prior to release that it might b my goty. Not a chance..let's hope Mafia 3, ff15 and wd2 are all awesome games.

        • It mostly just felt like a demo for the real game, that's the real issue I had. Definitely not worth more than $30-40.

        • Yep, demo sums it up. Just the biggest demo ever made. Lacks meatiness.

    • +2

Agree. I got maybe 2 hours out of it that were enjoyable, the rest was just doing the same thing over and over

    • +7

This is indie game quality, should be $5-$10.

    • +1

I agree, bought it for $78 on release, took it back to eb for refund. Will wait for it to be sub $30 before I get it again, just not worth the full rrp as it is at the moment

    • +1

OP's name is nnolan not max.

    • Will wait for this price…

  • It was $46 on Base.com yesterday, currently sold out though link

    • Sorry, this product is currently unavailable.

      • As I said, it is currently sold out. I was pointing out that very recently it was $20 odd cheaper :)

    No man's going to buy.

    • waiting for Woman to buy for man ?

      • Hahaha true because my girlfriend bought it for me. You don't have to wait any longer because she bought it at launch. 😂

  • +1

The reviews for the game have been terrible. Most have said it should have been released at no more than $20. Shame really as it looked promising.

16billions miles wide and only 1 inch deep. Much prefer Elite Dangerous.

    • +2

NMS is what drew my attention to ED… It's a much better game.. And the developer engages the community as opposed to having their mind blown from a stealth location.

    • +3

Definitely. NMS is basically the dumbed down kids version of Elite Dangerous.

  • This " SHOCKING Interview with Sean Murray [No Man's Sky]" Has me in tears every time!

The game is basically dead, a complete flop
you couldn't pay me to play this garbage

  • I'm still curious enough about this game to check it out but I think it'll be when it's really in the bargain bin at around the $20 mark.
