    I'm pretty sure its the <b>Navigon 3300</b>

    http://www.navigon.com/portal/au/produkte/navigationssysteme…

    • Ya, I think its Navigon brand too. Can not find out what's the exact model.

There is another Nuvi255 on sell at JBhifi for $159 i think, similar size of screen

      • If you google the product dimensions, it matches 2 Navigon models, and the 1GB storage capacity matches the 3300

    • +2

definetly the navigon 3300 i reckon

check out this link and compare:

yay for mystery brand = trying to disguise lesser brand but sell at premium price

    • +1

      wouldn't call that premium price

    • Yeh as true as that could be; The company may stipulate that you can't advertise their brandname when these are being offloaded.

  • +1

yeah the display appears to be the navigon interface…
would be good if op linked to COTD though…

  • +4

navigon IS a premium brand so i don't know why they try to hide it unless they aren't authorised or it's grey or they are breaking suggested rrp or something along those lines

  • great price. just purchased 2 for family members. Navigon is a premium brand. It wont be grey stock. It will be overflow stock that another retailer needs to sell.

  • i'm not a huge fan of the navigon software but it's still pretty good just the same

you'll find that harvey norman sell the lesser 3.5" navigons for a similar price

so this is a decent price… i just bought one

  • hmm… Do these have the reception problems of the Navigon 1300?

Hi there, I bought a Adidas Torrent VI Men's Tennis Shoes and Order Number is 1102120 on the 20th May 2010. Today is 5th of Jun 2010 but I have not receive it?? How long does it take normally ? Thanks

    • +4

-_-!. I am just an ordinary cutomer who wanna share good bargain information with rest of you.. I am not from COTD!!!!

    • +1

lol, serious? ozbargain cotd support request?

    • Aha, made my day.

    • haha…

    • LOL very nice =P
Anyway yea it does indeed look like a Navigon. I got the Navigon 1300 also from COTD and I've been using it. Works very well. Mine doesn't seem to have the calibration problems that many other people are having.

This has a bigger screen, and seems to be a higher model up so it should be great.

    • Go to the following link, and send them a message. From experience, I can tell you that they respond quickly.

      http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/helpcenter/index.php?_m=tick…

  • i also have a navigon 1400

it's pretty much perfect except for the interface which is busy to say the least

  • I bought last time without the 2 year free maps - does anyone know how to get it?

    • How is this unit? Easy to use? Pros/Cons? Worth to get 4 updates map for $20?
Haven't bought from COTD before but since people mention it's Navigon 3300…I'm tempted.
This is 1 yr warranty so how the warranty work if faulty? Return to COTD or manufacture?
      Cheers

    • I got an additional sheet in the box which has a unique 'activation code'. Once you download the Navigon Fresh software www.navigon.com/fresh, then you can register/enter activation code. From that point on, you get the ability to download new maps for 2 years. The $20 is well worth the price for up to date maps.

  • I think earlier in the week there was a tomtom on ozbargain for $169-$189

    • Yeah, I was considering that, but it came with 2009 maps and map updates cost $129 each!! So I got the Navigon today instead since you get 2 years map upgrades with Navteq for $19.95. That should be about 4 map updates (new AUS maps every 6 months) plus the first one (30 days latest map guarantee). Even a TomTom without the latest maps is useless.

    Hey guys,
Just wanted a some info on this if anyone owns one or know much about it.
So is this device user friendly, say for older peeps, looking to get one for my dad, easy to use?
Is all the specs listed there true? I've come across some gps with specs listed but aren't available, so it has advanced lane guidance, spoken street names, reality view etc?
And by the way, how important is map subscriptions and what do you do after the 24months have passed?

Lastly, how does it compare to the Navigon 1300? Better? And, would you recommend this?

    Thank you guys!

  • +1

Yes this device has speed warnings, lane assist, lane guidance, reality view, spoken street names, speed camera warnings etc.. Relatively easy to use. Use it for a few days and its simply. Like anything you need to play with it. Defiantly better than the 1300. Faster processor etc.. Great devices for $129. Be sure to get the map upgrades as well as it will keep you map up to date for 2yrs. You can also activate the voucher next year and get 2yrs from then :)

    • How about POI?
Is Navigon 3300 better than Mio Moov 370?

  • +1

    Gee, sold out already.

  • +1

    yeah what a surprise

a brand name PREMIUM 4.3" GPS that has CHEAP maps instead of the Tom Tom, Garmin, Navman $99/$129+ map updates!

    glad i'm gonna upgrade from a 1400 to a 3300!

    • Agree. You really have to count in the price of future map upgrades when buying a GPS. Especially since it seem most of the latest maps for TomTom and Navman are way out of date sometimes.

TomTom and Navman lure people to pay a premium for their GPS units without letting them know that they have to fork out another $100 or so for new maps every year to be able to use them.

  • Just got it and its brilliant. Fast reception and good response. This was what Navigon should be, not the experience of that 1300 model. Very happy :D
