Not a dupe, cheers OP :)

  • Wow,

That is a HUGE Angus !!!

    • +14

Without the 2nd 'G' that would've read completely differently!

      • +9

        Also without the 1st 'G'

        • +3

          Bummer !

  • I missed those last week

  • +1

According to the link, this needs to be printed on recycled paper

    • +1

Pixels are just elaborate recycled paper… on steroids

      • +9

        Phone is fine.

  • +3

    Been waiting for this

    Thanks OP

  • I've been waiting for these!

    • +1

Judging by the votes, alot of people have
      I know I have too

      • Yes, I have needed these desperately LOL.

  • Some great meal deals here. Thanks mate

  • +1

Some great deals here. The 2 x whopper jnr & chips for $5 is awesome value for a largish unhealthy snack for 2.

    • +1

I hope you mean two kids…

      • I did say snack :)

My kids eat more than I do. I'd need to buy two of those deals to feed the two kids.

        • +16

I have a separate stomach just for hungry jacks.

    • 2?

  • 10 nuggets + large chips for $4.95. is that worth it given that you lose 4 nuggets (in the previous 24 nuggets deals from KFC and Maccas) for 2 large fries instead?

    • +18

In case you haven't had HJ nuggets before, people would pay to have the nuggets REMOVED from a meal.

      • +2

i never tried them, this is probably for the best

        • The KFC nuggets I got with a family box I put in the the bin, they were so disgusting. If HJs are worse then who has good ones?

        • @elzilcho:

Tbh I haven't had any nuggets that have been "memorable"

        • +5

@elzilcho: You must have had a bad batch from a store that was having a crap day, as KFC nuggets are by far the best chain store takeaway nuggets you can buy.

    • +4

HJ's thick cut chips are better than their nuggets!

    • +2

Agree, tired HJ's nuggets a few times, aweful stuff. Macas nuggets are much more superior, but obviously cost more.

  • Does HJ's automatically have an official electronic version of the coupons released if one subscribes to their coupons?

    • Usually, yes. Tends to show up later than the printed ones and usually this OZbargain post will get edited to link directly to the HJ's version for phone and print.

    • when they are out just go to hungryjacks.com.au/exclusivedeals on your mobile and you can download the electronic version. currently it has the old ones.

  • Any of you got experience with printing these? Do these get accepted if printed black/white and not in full colour?

    • +3

awkwardly half show it on your phone, nobody is going to touch your phone to check if its legit.

    • +2

      Black and white is fine

    • +1

The previous ones, the 3 months before lasts when they didn't do them, were all fine on phone, both in drive thru and in store. Drive thru you may not actually have to show the voucher at all.

    • +7

      PHONE IS FINE

  • +11

    FINALLY!

Took them long enough, probably saw sales crash through the floor after not printing these for last month.

    • +3

Like when they stopped their $1 fries offer.

      • +7

        That's just started

        • +1

Re started.. It stopped for a while.

        • Food, in your store is adding salad (tomatoes, lettuce etc) to a burger only free if that burger already has those ingredients? Ie can I add lettuce and tomato etc to a cheeseburger free of charge? Thnx

        • @ndagudbargain: there's no written policy against it. I allow it, it really depends on the cashier and if they make the rules up or not.

        • They are thick cut chips now, extra greasy LOL

        • @ndagudbargain:

Good work around for that is to say that you can pay for it. Since it is free, they can't say no.

    • +4

yep - never visited Hungry Jacks the whole time there werent any vouchers

      • +9

The vouchers still worked while "expired"

        • +9

dont tell me that! I'll never stop going to HJ's now!

        • I just avoid going because on the rare chance I get rejected.. what then? I'm not paying full price!

        • Nope, the 3 I visited told me they werent accepting them.

        • @thedude23: likewise

    • since deals are almost always recycle, in the meantime I just been using the expired one. The staff ain't gonna care unless they are those fun police one.

  • +8

    Phone is fine.

    • +4

      Phone is fine.

      • -1

        Phhoneee is FINEEE!!

  • Anyone tried the XL classic chicken? Is it actually XL as described? Good deals in there too.

    • +10

      Phone is fine..

      • +3

        Wrong post bro!

        • +11

          THE PHONE IS FINE

        • +1

Lolz.. u dnt know.. phone is fine!

    • Why would it not be as described

  • Pity none of the decent burgers are included in the voucher deals.

    • +1

      ? Define decent.

      • +5

The new Angus burgers were surprisingly decent. As juicy as a fancy burger from a real burger place.

        • +1

I quite enjoyed the BBQ Angus, the patty was a decent thick slice. Not the best tasting but it was certainly satisfying.

          Will buy again sometime.

    • +4

The bacon deluxe is there, thats all you need.

    • +1

True, if they had grilled chicken, I'd be all over it!

  • Ah, same deals as usual apart from the XL chicken (which the coupon is a good deal considering 2XLs are normally $8 so with this you take back the 5c and we give you 2 small chips). The XL deal replaced the chicken crunch voucher which the burger was discontinued:'(

    • +1

dammit the 2 x chicken crunch burger deal was my splurge 'go-to' meal.

Pitty HJ dont have the grilled chicken as part of a deal either :(

      • +2

I know, Crunch was my fave :( no clue why it's gone

      • Try the whopper jnr 2 for 5 with add angry onion and peri peri sauce.

    • Have you any list for free stuff in shake and win?

      • i dont, but would be keen to know what the options are

      • Might not be much help but perhaps others can chime in others - free things I've received since the app has brought back free prizes:

        • free medium coffee
        • free regular frozen coke
        • free soft serve
        • free large orange juice
    • Besides the lettuce, tomato, and onion, what else is free to stack on a burger? ;)

      • All salads including Angus burger toppings and beetroot.
Any grilled/angry/ring onions, cheese and extra meat are extra.
BTW you can just purchase a single bun, single meat or chicken patty

        • Beetroot too! Wow! What is on the Angus burger?

        • @tomokaicho: oak leaf lettuce, tomato relish, herb mayo to name a few

  • Is this valid in Perth or WA? I need some seriously cheap and unhealthy lunches.

    • +2

Used it in Perth last time the voucher was up. Should be fine

  • +3

No doubt vouchers to counter Maccas Monopoly

  • +5

Cznt believe how much better value these are compared to McDonald's

I was having these 3 tines per week last time before i started to diet.

2 burgers plus fries for $6
    Ridiculous

  • +7

    Yes! New Hungry Jacks vouchers!

    Time to get fat

    • +13

      *fatter ;-)

  • +1

    No grilled chicken :(

    • Bummer i know. Using the HJ shake app i use to frequently get the $3 grilled chicken, but since the update havent got it once.

  • -1

    Is phone fine, guys?

    • +2

It was fine earlier in the post. Now it's not.

  • +1

    Thanks a lot
