  •

can anyone tell me which Asics version of shoes is the one for flat feet? Is it offered in this sale? Thank you.

    •

i'm interested to find out which shoes are good for flat feet

      •

for flat feet you should have proper inserts made ;) If you've got flat feet and no insert i feel bad for your feet and ankles and back and all of you :( lol

ASICS Nimbus are one of the best neutral running shoes out there. It's all I've used for like 10 years. And yes theyre on sale and at an amazing price!!!

      •

Here are a few good shoes for flat feet. Also check out our learning page for videos on finding the right shoe.

        New Balance 1260
        Mizuno Catalyst
        Brooks Beast
        Asics Kayano.

        Hope that helps.

        •

so the kayano 22s are ok?

        •

          Yes

        • +1 vote

          @bluedufflecoat:

Yes, I have flat feet and orthotics were the best thing I ever did as it got rid of some knee and shin pain I was having. Then I can just put the insert into a wider range of shoes and still get the correction I need.

Here's a list of just shoes though:

          @Tom Gibson:

          Hi.
Would a size 7 in Men's be equivalent to a women's Size 9? Or is it a direct relationship?

        •

          What's the difference between v5 and v6?

Mizuno Wave Rider 19 in the best colour scheme IMO for $65 delivered.
    http://www.runningwarehouse.com.au/Mizuno_Wave_Rider_19/desc...
Awesome neutral shoe, light yet durable. Switched from ASICS a few years ago and haven't looked back.

    •

I agree. No more shin splints for me either

    •

I would have loved the Wave Rider but they don't have them in a 12/2E - I've ordered the New Balance 1260 v5 for the same price (reduced from $249.95). The NB seems to get get reviews for a flat feet runners who over pronate like me, hopefully they are as good as my Mizuno Wave Inspire 9's are/were (still using them a couple years on)…

This is a great deal, good stuff RWA!

      • +1 vote

Never had NB but had a couple pair of Inspires (still use some for trails) which are more structured shoe than the Rider and better suited for overpro. Rider accommodates a firm heel strike which I have but not as much support through mid and fore foot. Can't comment on NB but sounds like you made the right choice.

        •

Ah okay, thanks for that bit of reassuring info - I've heard good things about NB, I think they are a bit underated as they are not as popular like Nike or Asics - but by the sounds of it these should be good for my feet (and hopefully flow up through the rest of my body). I did have some Adidas Ultra Boosts but they are terrible, no room in the toe box and I'd get terrible arch pain.

The NB aren't the prettiest but I don't care about that as much as being able to run comfortably - http://www.runningwarehouse.com.au/New_Balance_1260_v5_Men_S...

  •

That's bad faith mate - New Balance 1260 v5 Men's Shoes Silver/Orange went up from $99 to $129 after you announced this 40% discount. Had them in my cart and went to double check the size, came back and they've been hiked up.

    • +3 votes

yep i agree its bad. We got in a bit of trouble for having it that low. Happy to honor the $99.95 if you call in.

      •

        Fair enough. Thank you

      • +1 vote

Legends have reverted to original price for everyone. Also Hayden at the warehouse was very friendly. Thank you!

  •

Perfect timing, I was just looking down at my feet to see my sad ruined Asics Cumulus 12s so I've upgraded to the ASICS Cumulus 17 and grabbed a pair of ASICS GT 1000 while I was at it! (7 cents off free shipping sucks, so added a pair of $17 socks, which ended up costing $5 if you take into account the free postage that I wouldn't have got.) $160.

  •

Nice. Got a backup pair of GTS 16s ordered. Thanks OP.

  •

Cool got some shoes and 2 x tights

    5 separate orders though 😀

  •

Hey Rep, I have an older pair of ASICS Gel 758 XRT 2E currently that will need replacing soon, what do you recommend in your current stock/specials?

    Cheers.

  •

Got a call saying they can't honor my order for 2XU tights.. :(

    •

Oh no, what did you order?

      •

        2xu mid rise compression tights

        • +1 vote

Hmm I ordered different products, hopefully it doesn't suffer the same fate…

  •

I land on the outside of my foot and roll in. what do you recommend?

    • -3 votes

I recommend you don't do it and place your foot evenly on the ground.

      • +1 vote

You are as useful as a nail in mud. Thanks for your help anyway

    •

Same as me, you need something for 'overpronation'. I chose these ones for "a moderate to severe overpronated foot motion."

      •

Low to medium arch, flat-ish wide foot, have an ankle roll injury. Also wear my shoes on the outside heal. Slightly overweight. Which shoes best? GT2000? or NB 1260v5 ?

    •

You are meant to land on the outside of your foot and roll in. A little bit. Maybe take shorter strides

Buying shoes based on pronation is a fraught topic. Neutral shoes are best if you arent sure

    •

everyone lands on the outside of their foot. whether over/under pronation depends on how far or little you roll in after that.

    •

Brooks GTS 16s, the New balance 1260s linked to below, and a lot of the Asics range. Moderate overpronation does seem to be totally natural, but I have a dodgy ankle so need shoes like these ones with more support to help prevent rolling.

    Hi Rep.

What's the deal with returns? Is it free postage returns or can we return them in store? Sorry, couldn't find anything specifically saying except to use the included returns form.

    • +2 votes

You pay for the return back to us and we ship the replacement out for free.

  • +1 vote

    Any good black walking shoes?

  •

Thanks. My order has already shipped.
