    I wouldn't call it a "must buy"or even a buy if you're a music enthusiast…

  • I was going to ask if these are genuine but then I saw word 'Genuine' in the title.

" with the most sophisticated and magnificent packaging."

    Please, make it stop…

Lol that's hilarious. What a slogan!

I like to be sophisticated…might buy these, throw away the headphones and keep the packaging

Since Apple owns beat the description should also includes "unapologetic design" tooo

      • So courageous, I hope they remove the wires soon and sell them as an additional product.

        Talk about innovative.

I thought this was a place for bargains, not a place for advertising. This belongs on Gumtree, where all unwanted junk goes.

Some Beats are pretty good according to headfi users.

Came here for the comments. Wasn't disappointed lol

    • Same! Soon as I saw "beats" in the title, couldn't click fast enough. :D

Got one as a gift. Sound is great, but not worth $479 or even $300. Max I would pay is $200 for a set of wireless cans.

    • looking for wireless cans atm, any suggestions <200? Not in a rush, can wait for deals

      • I don't think you can find decent Bluetooth headphones for under $200 lol. I'd highly reccomend waiting for a deal on the Bose QC35s (maybe $350?). You cannot find a better set of Bluetooth headphones at the moment. If you don't mind wireless earphones, you cant go past the Jaybird X2s which are can be had for sub $150, or wait for the Airpods lol.

Ooh, if we're going by the rules:

    Appropriate uses of negative vote:

Major issue with product in that it doesn't work the way it should.

I'd say this counts to neg all Beats items? ;)

    • I've got no time at all for "Beats". They are even more overrated than "Bose", who make pretty good enclosures, but pack them with paper-cone mid-grade drivers while charging >premium price, but the poster is offering what beats put out as their high-end product at a far lower price for those who are happy with the " sophisticated and magnificent packaging", the look and what they perceive as the status of wearing them - and sound, at the end of the day, is really subjective. I would probably even go as low as TDK in preference to these for [say], Nick Cave, Sibelius or Dead, but the style of music I suspect most people pump through these cans is the style they were designed for.
I could be wrong, but I'd think it' s all about the "duff" - and there are vistas of ambience and deliberate incidentals I pick up in stuff I used to enjoy best with my head between two stacks and the volume at 11 in my younger days.

The 'neg' counts against the store, who are offering a 'bargain', even if not very well though of by some [including me]. In the same way I don't neg 'super-food' deals when I see them, even tho they are an affront to my education, my experience and often to basic logic, the comments regarding the product really belong below the line, where others can assess our arguments, or pick up on the disdain…

      • If I was wearing a hat, I'd take it off to you. What I made as a light-hearted joke, you've taken and expanded on that, and also helped with a bit of an insight into how it works. Cheers!

I'll stick with my Sennheiser. They do the job!

Doesn't that also apply to most electronics, clothes and so on?

Not so keen on the product but does it require a neg???

    Beats me.
