    Unless you just hate the new slim version for some reason idk why you would get this over the slim which is only $398

      I think thats the 500gb not the 1tb? Although I will admit, I wasn't too sure which to get today. Was a hard choice.

        id go for the slim cause it's quieter less heat and uses less power.
        my ps4 sounds like a bloody jet engine on some games.

    Seems like a good price. Not sure if it helps but I got mine for $359 at Target today (I think off another post here). Not sure if its worth keeping in mind in case you want to check both places (or you want to try getting the price down).

      Apart from Target is there anywhere else that is close to this price?
      Genuine question as the PS4 slim is no good to me without optical (plus the old one looks much better IMO), and I can't wait for the Pro due the release of BF1.

      The current ebay sale may possibly answer my question if there is a reputable seller with stock.
