Oo…paid $432 recently for this one from the Myer ebay deal.

Myer might be easier to deal with if you need warranty. At least they are a B&M store. These guys, you would need to send it back.

Might help some people but there was reddit thread a while ago about a vacuum cleaner maintenance man.

He ranked Miele as the top brand for cleaning after pets.

That's what made me throw out my Dyson for this exact vacuum. And it sucks so much more.

Any intel on cheap vacuum bags for this vacuum cleaner in perth?

    • You can usually get a 4-box pack (16 bags, 8 filters) on ebay for $75.

Which will be even less if you buy it with this vacuum in the same order.

      • How often do you go through bags and filters? Ie. Vacuuming once a week.

First bag is about to need replacing. I've had it since December.

16 bags will last you a long time.

Cheers. I'll remember it for the next deal!

I have 2 cats and one of time is a long hair feline. I can vouch this vacuum cleaner gets the job done very nicely.

Comparing, Dyson feels like cheap plastics while this Miele, the build is solid and sturdy, but some may find its a bit too heavy. In fact when I was at Harvey Norman, the sales person showed me a damaged Dyson which was just returned by a customer because the plastic tube was cracked.

Oh, if you tune down the suction, this vacuum cleaner just hums softly, easy on the ears.

I am very please with the product.
