    If it lasted 10+ years that'd be fine.

    I can't find a toasted which will toast bread evenly and consistently. So frustrating.

      I recently bought a breville 4 slice for about $72 delivered from eBay (usually about $120). It does an amazing job at consistent toasting. These brevilles usually get good reviews.

      I am worried about the electronics though. Heat and electronics don't go together.

      I consider the Smeg overpriced. Even the kitchenaid is only $169 and they're a very expensive brand.
