  • I have the G4 (not the Plus) 2GB/16GB. Excellent battery life - 7h SoT. Very responsive and snappy.

    • my 32gb G4 plus battery can last 2-3 days with light usage.

  • Single sim?

    • Dual sim with separate microSD slot (not sharing with 2nd sim slot).

      • Where did u find this info

        • +7

from the back of my G4 plus after I open the cover.

  • is it worth paying the extra for the plus for a better camera and scanner?

    • Its worth it unless camera is not ur priority on a phone.

  • Also i been readin people said that this phone can do sim 1 on 4g or 3g and sim 2 on 3g both on.

But why does the specs say this?

    2G Network (MHz)850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 - SIM 1 & SIM 2

    3G Network (MHz)850 / 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 - SIM 1 only

    4G Network (MHz)700 / 850 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2600 (Bands 2,3,4,5,7,12,17,28) - SIM 1 only

    • I'm looking at my G4 plus now while typing and I can tell you it works on 4G and 3G (dual standby).

Sim 1 on Optus 3G, Sim 2 on Telstra 4G.

You can set where calls/sms go to which Sim and data on the other.

      • You have the exact same model?
So the specs info is wrong then?

        • Yes, I bought it form the exact same Dick Kogan when it was $360 after discount.

        • @blaccdong:
Do you think I should wait for another ebay deal that has local stock ? or just buy this ?

        • @Aplpw: buy it now.

  • hmm has band 28 and finger print reader and android 6 ….. it's making the chinadroids looking bad for just $100 more.
they have black on another listing but won't take cut20 …… their other black listing is sold out and that did take cut20

  • Does anyone know about anything related to the warranty/returns if faulty? I'm a little out of date about the whole DickSmith returns thing.

  • Tempting, though the lack of NFC is both annoying and perplexing… basically it's perpoying.

    • i still like the idea of my credit cards with a chip ….. don't need batteries so work all the time and less bulky then a phone. Also cheaper to have multiple credit cards incase you loose one. NFC for payments on android ….. think the banks are still working out who gets what pay system (apple vs android)…. by that time i will probabaly have . the next model phone.

  • So this is the international model, and it comes with AU/NZ Compliant Generic Charger…
can the phone do turbo charging with the provided charger?

    • mobilecity have the same phone for $30 more if faster delivery and a factory AU charger is an issue. The quick charge ….. might be an issue for some …… I have several tronsmart chargers so for me not so much, but it does close the gap on overseas delivery and save $30 or local delivery and get a rapid charger straight out of the box with AU plug.

I kept the factory charger that came with my motorola at work for rapid charge (emergencies) and use the tronsmart at home to charge ALL devices overnight.

must say unless you wanted a chinadroid which aren't sold in Australia (e.g Xioami) …. many of our local suppliers are offering good deals for the same models (e.g motorola / lenovo) and no complaining about delivery times.

      • You will find the 3Gb model at Mobiciti around $100 more than this deal…I think you are referring to the 2Gb model with the less ram too.

        • yes you are right ….. went with the dick smith 32 GB version … black back in stock…… will do fine as a dual sim kids phone.

    • It comes with an adapter, which works fine with the supplied Turbo Charger.

I can fully charged my phone in 90 minutes currently.

      • with the turbo charge ….. it charger more rapidly at the beginning the idea being to get you some charge so you can get a flat phone working but then it tapers off to prolong battery life .( combination of higher voltages more current and hence heat) the trade off between speed and battery life ….. .. i have a rapid charger in the car too now for devices that support it ( 1 so far ).

also they have quick charge V3 now so that means a new charger again for future devices.
