7" tablets need to die. Less than 8" and it's a wifi only phone.

This hubk of junk also benchmarks nearly half that of Nexus 10 from 2012.

I disagree on the form factor, however I see that this is your

      Congratulations!!!! :)

      • Thanks, didn't notice :)

  • why arent they any better android tablets in the market?

      • any better brands?

        • A bit strange Samsung didn't have a new Tab A 8".

    • better android tablets in the market?

Because the tablet market is dying. Even Apple sales have dropped. People have big phones now. The only tablet that still makes sense is the Surface.

      • i reckon thats the case but y make these crappy tablets.

im still using my asus 10" memo pad tablet with FHD 2gb ram, hdmi output. bought it from Myers for $99 like 3-4 yrs ago.

and Samsung is still making a 1280*720 10" tablet.
only 1 worth getting is the Sony tablet.

        • y make these crappy tablets.

For parents to plunk their kids in front of and not care about if they get damaged. These are basically toys.

    • I think this is the old model.

    • Also the 8 inch model has a lower resolution on a bigger screen size which means a lower PPI.

      7" model - 1280 X 800 216 ppi
      8" model - 1024 x 768 160 ppi

I was gonna settle for the 8" just because it had a bigger screen, however an inch less for more sharpness to the screen I think is worth it. :>

Get Xiaomi mi max instead. Worth paying 90 or 100 bucks more for that.only half n inch short but loads more functionality. But people stick to brands and local warranty so comes down to individual preferences.

    • I might have bad luck but I was so disappoint with the Mi Pad 2 that I bought in March from GeekBuying. The screen died 2 months of usage. 1 month waiting to get it back. It died again and now I had to send it back …

Also, the form is crap too - it deforms around the edge where the volumn buttons are.

For Samsung, at least I can bring the products to its Highpoint centre …
