Aren't elephants afraid of mice? ;)

      This guy wins OzBargain today.

  • RGB lights, high DPI settings, and configurable buttons doth not a gaming mouse make, but since it's cheaper than a crappy no-brand optical mouse you can buy from Officeworks I think I can live with it as a general every-day use mouse.

bought for the lulz. might make a good xmas pressie. RGB mice for everyone in the office!!!

    • You understand that "gaming mouse" is a phrase invented by marketers I hope.

      • I sold gaming accessories at one stage, so yes, I'm well aware of the marketing behind it.

But as a gamer, I still prefer my trusty logitech G500 over this generic — namely because there's a lot of nifty features that are enabled by a mouse driver, which an Elephone wouldn't have (e.g profile switching, polling rate, angle snapping etc).

There's also the quality of the switches — cheap mouse use cheap switches which click very loudly.

The RGB lighting and the high DPI sensors are all value-adds that add little to no functionality to the device at all — it just allows the vendor to justify charging a premium for it.

    • You can get RGB Lights AND high DPI AND a stylish design AND unlimited gaming cred for $1 if you know where to look….

And there is a $1.50 PRO version for the Uber Leet…

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/258174

My PRO version arrived safely and it works. It's no worse than a normal Logitech.

The seller's other items are worth checking out for a giggle (definitely NSFW).

      • Yeah. Makes you wonder if this Ele-Mouse is actually much better, or if it's just using pretty much the same parts

Maybe I'll do a teardown EEVblog style

Maybe I'll do a teardown EEVblog style

Please don't. Instead, do it with some skill, lack of arrogance, and use a non-whining voice.

      • yeah but they are both expired now :-(

I want a spare mouse with page back and forward buttons on the side near my thumb, anything cheaper than the above deal and I'll buy a couple.

  • @Clear does the xiaomi phone come as the international version? Or will it have chinese apps on it meaning I will need to flash the device (Which I don't actually know how to do lol)

  • +1

If they release an international version of the Note 4 Pro, I will be getting one!

    • Apparently reviews have said it's kinda gone backwards with the camera and whatnot since the note 3 so i won't. That being said it's good for the price still. Better than the Redmi Pro at least.

      • Which review please? I google.. nothing much interesting.

techTablets YouTube review. That guy is a legend , reviews pretty much every Chinese phone out there.

@adrianhughes1998: and tablets. I love his reviews.

        • @san_narula takes all the work for us.always look forward to him.

  • Any reviews for the gaming mouse ?

    What next? Eleloop batteries

  • If you decide to go with this beware that the free shipping is sh!t.
I've ordered the Piston Basic earphones posted here over a month ago and still haven't received anything.
There is not tracking number to check where the goods are.

I've emailed them and am hoping they do the right thing. Judging from my experience and what a lot ozbargainers went through this isn't an uncommon thing for this seller.

    • Free Unregistered airmail and registered airmail go through China Post, PostNL or Singapore Post. It's not an unusual for it to take up to 30 business days and all other Chinese stores use the same carriers.

If you PM me your order number I can follow it up.

  • Sorry, I will have to neg it due Geekbuying's incompetence at fulfilling an order properly and terrible service. Sent me a phone which I didn't order and now a response to my emails takes days.

  • That RN4 Pro is cheap. And you get 64GB. How good is Helio x20 compared to SD650?

  • Keep in mind this doesn't support many 4g bands we use here. Better wait for international version or get RNP3 Kate.

    • B38, B39 and B41 are not supported. Still more than the Chinese RN3P.

  • Horrible aftersale customer service from Geekbuying..
Waiting for 1 month and half for refund to arrive back in my card.

    • Pm me your order number and I'll follow it up with GB after the Chinese National Holiday period is over.
